Tons of Rock was Tons of Fun!  EUROPE was of course the highlight for me, but there were a lot of other good bands as well, including of course, headliners Iron Maiden.  |

Memorable moments: Joey made a minor screwup during the first verse of "Open Your Heart": "I've been hoping... for the angels to knock on my door, I've been waiting... everything could be like before." He smiled and laughed a little as he realized he messed up. Before "Ready or Not", when Joey was talking about touring with Whitesnake and when they used to go see bands like Whitesnake and Thin Lizzy back in the old days, he spoke in English before switching midway through to Swedish. That was a bit funny.  At the beginning of "Superstitious" Joey introduced the other guys on stage and mentioned that both Ian and John Norum are Norwegians. When he was about to introduce Norum, it looked like Norum was hiding for a little while, as a joke. During the first verse of "The Final Countdown", John Norum and John Levén switched places onstage, so that it looked like The Final Countdown tour in 1986!    Norum screwed up the beginning of the solo to "The Final Countdown" and looked a bit confused, but he got back into it pretty fast.   |

I filmed the intro and first verse to "Open Your Heart". The original video was shaky and the audio was distorted since I was in the front row, but I've tried to clean it up. |
