Hi everybody I have just a small question about a Rock The Night 7” miss print that was redrawn from the market due to that it was wrong speed. Are there many out on the market today?

Never heard of it. Sounds interesting... Which Rock The Night is this? European, US?

I have also never heard of this before. It's not listed on Discogs either. Not that EVERYTHING is listed there but they cover 98%. So VERY interesting to say the least!

Thanks for the video, janson67! Here's a screenshot of the letter, with my translation below: STOP EUROPE'S SINGLE! Yes, you read that right. It doesn't feel wise to have to pull back a big selling single, but the fact of the matter is that "ROCK THE NIGHT" is mispressed – it runs way too slow – and MAY NOT BE SOLD IN THIS CONDITION! Return all the copies you have and we will exchange them for new ones with the correct speed within a week! With apologies and thanks CBS RECORDS AB

In 2013 Swedish radio channel P4 Musik broadcast a special about The Final Countdown. One of the highlights is the story of the mispressing of "Rock the Night":
John Norum: "I remember when the single arrived freshly pressed from the factory. It ran at the wrong speed."
Ian Haugland: "We were somewhere in Sweden and we received the single. Then we went to the local record store and asked the store clerk to put it on the record player so that we could listen to it. He did and then it was like, 'Rooock nooow, rooock the niiight....' It ran too slow and we were like, 'What the hell? This is not an LP. It's supposed to be played on 45 rpm, not 33 rpm!' And he's like, 'It IS played on 45 rpm!'
John Norum: "I noticed that the vocals sounded a bit drowsy, but I thought I might just be imagining things. But when it came to the guitar solo I knew something was wrong, because I didn't play that slow when we recorded it. I was going at full speed. And all of a sudden my guitar solo sounded like a slow blues or something and I was like, 'No no, something's wrong here.'"
Ian Haugland: "And this was the first pressing of the single and it was being shipped out to stores. So we just had to call the record company and say, 'Pull this junk back and throw it in the trash!'"
