Italy, 4rd: out of charts. This year, four dates in Italy will be too much: I predict half-empty concerts. Really sad but true for me.

Personally, I think the promotion of this album has been relatviely poor, at least here in the UK anyway.
It's great that the album made it into several charts, but I feel they could have capitlaised on this by doing more promotion and therefore ganerating more sustained sales. After Joey's appearance on BBC breakfast I noticed a sharp increased in their Amazon UK chart position. Coincidence? I doubt it!
I'm sure I remember Joey doing a lot more promotion for LLAE.

Hello deeman, and welcome to this forum. I don't think it was poor in general, Joey and John have gone to various places and televisions in France, Italy and Germany and I don't remember that this was well in promoting LLAE ... Maybe in the UK has been a promotion poorer, if you're from there you have the information about it, so I agree with you. I have a feeling of disappointment because in my country (Spain) don't even have come and we haven't concert dates ... if I analyze this data only, the promotion is poor if we analyze the entire European continent think it was a good promotion. The promotion is very necessary; all that isn't known, doesn't exist.

Well, in France, it stays only 1 week in the charts, at the 70th rank. However, on this page of official french charts, you can see that EUROPE BOB is among the most seen hard rock albums ("Most checked Novelties of hard rock/metal"): www.chartsinfrance.net/artistes/pop-rock/sousgenre-1080.htmlAnd I agree with tomorrow : the global promotion is far more important than for LLAE. For BOB, it's intense promotion, indeed !!! In may, there was news about Europe (especially norum-Tempest) EVERY DAY . But as they don't do promotion only in one country, but in several ones, it seems not so important. Concerning LLAE 1st place in Swedish charts, yes, I think it was rather artificial. Because all the fans all over the world could buy it only in Sweden. And remember that they released it in 3 different colors ! So that many fans bought the album in 3 versions because they wanted the yellow, the green and the red...

True, but this doesn't explain why it stayed in the charts for the incredible period of 22 (twentytwo) weeks! I don't think Bob can get even near to this record.

Sweden, week 6: No. 30
"New Love in Town" has got some airplay, the single was also in the charts for many weeks. not to forget that Lindell is a Swedish producer.

I was very surprised that BOB hasn't been number 1 in Sweden, I had it as something that would happen for sure. I think "Last look at Eden" was a more powerful single, which reached more people than NSTSTB, but once we have met all the album, has met the expectations of many of us. I would have chosen "Firebox" as single... a good first single attracts many people.

I think "Last look at Eden" was a more powerful single, which reached more people than NSTSTB 3 Europe albums made it to No.1 in Sweden. TFC, OOTW and LLAE. and "New Love in Town" was by far more successful as a single than the title track. No.2 ain't bad at all. reaching the top position is also dependent on what other releases are out at the same time... Kent (10 No.1-Albums in Sweden so far) was at No.1 when BoB came out. So it's no big surprise.
