Not very good news, then. in France, they stayed in the charts only 1 week. Hope EUROPE won't loose money on this album... It seems to me they invested a lot in BOB. only Kevin Shirley price was probably exorbitant !

Sweden: 27 (week 5) Not very good news, then. what are you talking about? This album overall has their best chart positions Europe-wide since the 90s/Pip, their highest entries in the post-reunion era, except Sweden. And that with a rather unpolished sound... that it won't beat TFC was crystal clear from the beginning.

It seems to me they invested a lot in BOB. only Kevin Shirley price was probably exorbitant ! In Sweden it's going worst than the previous album that peaked nr. 1 and lasted 22 weeks (also because of very successful singles). My feeling tough is that BOB is going well in more countries. It charted in UK (even if only for 1 week). In France has stayed only for one week but reached nr. 70 (while LLAE peaked 86). As I've stated somewhere, musically, this is not an album for the charts. So I think we can be quite satisfied with its results. If the band is satisfied with their revenues is something we will never know (but I hope they have learnt how to make business, they're not teenager anymore). I really don't know how it works but maybe the producer is paid (in part at least) on percentage since he is deeply involved in the album release process.

BOB has entered the charts in many european countries, that's a good result, though perhaps it was a shame it has not arrived in Sweden at # 1. I don't think that is something that worries too much to the band, though obviously they would like, I think they are happy being able to make the music they love and giving concerts.

There's a simple explanation for this (among others). The album is released at almost the same date in Europe. Previous albums where first released in Sweden so that al dedicated fans imported the album from there so it made it that high in the charts. So don't depend on charts to find out how much an album has sold.
