There's a band called CyHra (that perhaps you know as they played at the Bandit Rock Awards) whose singer, Jake E, has said that he learnt a lot from Joey's solo album "A Place To Call Home". Here's the video with English subtitles available (starts at 4:30).
Do you know other bands that have declared to have been influenced by Europe?

If I remember correctly, one of these bands is Eclipse (see our former discussion about cover versions etc. forum.wingsoftomorrow.com/post/13690/thread/1145)By the way, I went to check them out last weekend in an event called Rockin' Scandinavia (Brother Firetribe, One Desire and Eclipse performing). They were great! Here are couple of videos I took:

Love all three bands, and have done so for at least 10 years. except One Desire, of course. But their (first?) album from last year is fantastic My addition to "Bands who has been influenced by Europe" is this band, and this song. You don't need to understand to understand german to understand what he says about the song. And if you don't understand it when he says it, listen to the song!
