So sorry I've missed the round from the wonderful Wings of tomorrow album which is still one of the best EUROPE albums in my opinion!!! Been very busy and sometimes you can't just follow everything!! Anyway, despite knowing my votes don't count anymore I'd love to give you my three favourite songs which happen to be the very first three on the album: Stormwind -"You're just like the wind, coming to drag me away", this line has been haunting me for years and years... I clearly pictured in front of me a lonely man in the wilderness fighting towards a "stormwind" that can be very real but also methaphorical... it can really shake the soul in such a deep way... at least that's how I've always felt about it... This is when the guys played it on the "Wings over Sweden" tour in 2014... I was there and I really had goosebumps...  Scream of Anger - a real scream of anger and pain... co-written by Joey with my dear Marcel... some of the words sound so tragically true today... I'm so happy whenever the band plays this song live! It's like Marcel lives again through those notes again and again... I have also personal memories about it of course and that's why I love it so much...  Open Your Heart - one of the most beautiful songs from the entire EUROPE catalogue IMO!!!! Very touching and heartfelt words... that guitar riff, so delicate and beautiful... just a couple of days ago I was commenting below one post from Michaela Italy on her FB page in which she declared how much she loved OYH! I joined her for the above reasons and I expressed the wish the band could include it again in their live setlist and I think other fans just have the same wish... I don't know if our thoughts and sensations reached the guys somehow, but it was awesome to see that they played it last night in Viña del Mar with Joey saying it was "kinda requested"... I was shocked, in a positive way of course...  Just wanted to add my opinion too and since we have a tie already, my vote goes once again to the almighty STORMWIND  !!!! |

I had to be away for a while and missed the first part of vote for this album  But thanks Ernie Ball and Tone Irene for supporting my choices! It is cruel that we cannot vote for more songs from this album  Anyway, my vote is: Waisted time! |
