The video is absolutely great, enlivened As a French, I must say I'm quite surprised. Not because of the background which is the French Revolution (which is one of my favorite period in French history ^^) and fits with the topic of the song, but because the words "Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité" (Liberty, Equality, Fraternity) appeared when I didn't expect it. I know it was the motto at that period, but nowadays, with these events and discontent of the French population, the strikes, the harshness of the French political leaders and actions perpertrated by them, it affects me somehow because these three words the French people cherish are falling apart. I don't want to open a debate here, just wanted to give my "French" point of view. Hope it's okay. Apart from that, this song is so good and that's a good choice for a second single !! |

IMHO I think they should part ways with Patric... I think the last videos are getting pretty predictable with the shots of the band and stuff.
It's not that the man is not talented, it seems like Europe should experiment with other directors who might catch their magic better than Patric does. I perfectly understand that they don't care too much about how their videos are going to turn out (Joey mentioning the rock band stuff they're doing with the music and all, going past their posing years), but that's just my two cents on the matter.

IMHO I think they should part ways with Patric... I think the last videos are getting pretty predictable with the shots of the band and stuff. 100%!!! They really do need a 'fresh' new direction in that regard. Patric Ullaeus's work is cool....but I find it really standard and boring. Its too predictable and pretty conventional. I hope the next album round they shake things up and find someone else. |
