Time to recover this thread where a few years ago we speculated on what would be the name of the 10 album  Do you want us to do it again? Maybe yes ! We will share possible names for the new jewel of our beloved band, hey guys! we are talking about the album number 11 already ... !!! any ideas ??  Here a small summary 1. EUROPE 2. WINGS OF TOMORROW 3. THE FINAL COUNTDOWN 4. OUT OF THIS WORLD 5. PRISONERS IN PARADISE 6. START FROM THE DARK 7. SECRET SOCIETY 8. LAST LOOK AT EDEN 9. BAG OF BONES 10. WAR OF KINGS  |

We all know that EUROPE (and especially Mr Tempest) will always surprise us. And that they are too imaginative to take ideas from us, humble fans. Anyway, that's allways funny to imagine what it could be... Well, that's the 11th album, and that's not so easy to play on words as it was with the tenth one... (Will always remember the now and ten from EuropeMagnum...) Right now, I must admit I have nO idea at all !! |

My guess/proposal/speculation: 11. "Ghost Tower on Cloud 9"There are some redundant and overdone toughts behind it, in my usual fashion, and I am glad to share them with you  What I did was sorting all the nouns already used by Europe for the past album titles in two categories: Category no. 1: "Europe, World, Society, War, Prisoners, Kings" Category no. 2: "Wings, Eden, Paradise, Start, Countdown, Look, Tomorrow" The first category inspires me with something urban and civilized but with shades of belligerence and pugnacity. A good word that summed up these concepts was for me "Tower". The second category gives me feeling of something celestial and positive, something related with the sky, and that's where the word "Cloud" comes from. Then I looked at the adjectives used for the past album titles and again sorted them in two categories: Category no. 1: "Secret, Dark" that for some reasons inspired me with the word "Ghost"; Category no. 2: "Final, Last" which obviously makes me think of something definitive and ultimate. Since the upper cloud should be the ninth, this is where the number "9" comes from. The words combined together have some sense and they sound good to me. And also the only two hints about the new album that we have up to now (heavy and majestic) are somehow well preserved by this title.   |

I neither have no idea on what the title can be this time. Anyway the important for me is that the music be good and original as always because this year there are very good albums by other bands and I want it to be the record of the year  And now I'll tell you a small story The other day I remembered that in the late 80's or early 90's a girl who run an unofficial fan club those days told me the next album would be titled "On the Moon" and one of the songs would be called "Rainbow Warrior". Finally the album was "Prisoners in Paradise" and "Rainbow Warrior" wasn't there so during that decade I thought both names were invented but as you know "Raibow Warrior" really existed which makes me think that maybe she was right with "On the Moon" too. Did anyone ever hear of that name as a possible title? |

I don't mind what they call it if the music is good, and I have no doubt that it will be. I have a feeling maybe it could even be a type of concept album this time around. Whatever the album is called, I think there is a high possibility of the name of the album being three words long I would also very much like it if they have a photo of the band for the album cover, probably black and white - a little bit moody and atmospheric. Whilst I have really liked some of the recent album artworks, especially 'Bag of Bones' and 'War of Kings', it's nice to have a photo of the band once in a while. |

How about 'Return of the Kings'. Maybe somebody already thought of that. Probably it's a bit too similar to War of Kings

I have a feeling maybe it could even be a type of concept album this time around. I would absolutely love a concept album. But I am afraid it will not happen. Joey's lyrics sound to me too abstract in the latest albums to expect a concrete story to support a concept. I don't know...I can only hope to be surprised once again. |

Why ? Because They would make a new version of this wonderful ballad that doesn't know the great public and could be include it in the new album
