How long are the Europe sets expected to be? How many songs are we looking at 10-12?

When Europe is the guest band they usually play for about an hour (about 12 songs).

Sounds a good amount of time to get some of the new album while playing a few classics too.

As much as I would love to go and see Europe in Birmingham, I am going to pass and wait until they come back and do their own headlining tour. And as much as I would also like to see Deep Purple (having never seen them before), I refuse to pay £50 to be about 500m from the stage, to see Europe playing what will inevitably be a fairly short set. Incidentally, the first time I ever went to see Europe live was also in Birmingham (NEC) on the OOTW tour, in 1989 I think it was. I was 14 years old and since then I have taken almost every opportunity to see them play, even travelled abroad on some occasions. Lost count of how many I have been to. Think is is around 20, and hopefully there will be many more 'In the Future to Come'

If you never saw Deep Purple live, I would highly recommend to go anyway I saw them a few months ago (same tour) and they were great. Might also be your last chance to see these guys live. But seriously, they still kick ass and put on a super show. Deep Purple & Europe? It would be a no brainer for me. But hey, that's just my opinion.

They haven't done a full Length headline show since Bag of Bones in 2012. Incidently the NEC was also my first Europe show. 2nd April 89. Was a great show.
