... Just ask Michaela Italy when she joins this thread
Thanks
michaeljessen for the assist!
These past weeks I have always been travelling and only now I can sit down and post something here in the forum...
This one has been a very special occasion, the Rock Under Broen Festival in Middelfart where I attended with my eldest daughter.
The stage where Europe played was very very high and deep, a bit too much actually and from the first row you couldn't see Mic at all and barely Ian.
But for sure Joey has filled in every space and I won't forget his performance with some moments dedicated to my daughter!!!
She still can't believe it, and the Danish young guy on her other side too was totally amazed by all the attention she got!
Joey came down twice to meet the entire first row shaking hands with everybody there! During Rock The Night he stepped up at the barrier fence right where my daughter was (I have had to behave and be a good girl not to touch him, but what a temptation, LOL!!!
) and later on he came down again and gave her a guitar pick directly in her hand!!!
Here it is, when Joey descends the stage the first time during Rock The Night, thanks soooooo much Michael, to have recorded this!!!
You know, I must confess, I was almost becoming jealous...hahahaha!!!
When finally during the announcement of Nothin' To Ya that unmistakable intense and "dirty" glance of his hit me at the "Do you like it HEAVY?!!
"
OOOOOOOK man, now I got you and that's right!!! Yes, I like it HEAVY!!!
Oh, of course the music... what are you thinking about now?
A special mention is deserved for Mic too, because he had seen us at the Sweden Rock Festival during the concert of the All Stars band, where both Mic and Ian played and sang loud!!! Mic knew from last week when I met him at the airport that I would have attended the SRF first and then the Rock Under Broen festival with my daughter and he greeted us in the end before leaving the stage!!!
EUROPE, you are such a unique and amazing band!!!
And the after-show featured a John Norum playing the original guitar from The Final Countdown that Michael Jessen bought some time ago from him and now he had brought him back for John to sign... John got so excited at the sight of it! And he immediately started to play that guitar in such an intense way that we feared Michael wouldn't have had it back anymore!!!
I have only a short video with a part of Carrie... here it is! Enjo(e)y!!!
