The Final Countdown 30th Anniversary Album: Our Memories

I think everyone here in Greece,especially the sportsfans-including my self have a very special memory connected to "The Final Countdown".The song was played before every game of the Greek team at the European Basketball Championship that took place in Athens in 1987.Our team was the underdog but it was also had some great players and eventually won the championship.The victory was celebrated with the music of TFC that sort of became the unofficial anthem of the Greek basketball team.
Even after all these years for me this song always brings back this special feeling-winning a big trophy for the first time ,achieving what seems impossible.
Talking about achieving the impossible, I just got this crazy idea.Next year is the 30h anniversary of the 1987 EuroBasket and I guess it would be great if a Europe concert here in Greece was part of the celebrations.Dreaming is free,anyway...
