If I'm not mistaken we have a thread called "EUROPE Official Pages" where we talked about issues mostly made reference to the official band page on Facebook, but I think it deserves its own thread. This page is the main source of all official information of the band, so much so that on the official website of the band (which is totally dead) paragraph NEWS redirects you directly to Facebook.
Well, my first comment more than one news that there's been put on there is about "one loss news" If you are a rock band that has one of the best guitar player in the world and is his birthday (as happened yesterday) I think it's "kind, funny, nice, even interesting and rewarding for fans" has the detail of hanging a post with the photo of our hero there and that all of us turn us congratulate him for his birthday. Is something important ? probably not ... sure to Norum this kind of things does not add anything, and he enjoyed the day in the same way, taking into account also that he has its own official website where many of us left him our greeting but well, I personally missed a reference to his birthday on the official page of his band, it would have been nice for the fans.
On the other hand, the worst is that not think it was something in mind, of course not, it is simply a result of the abandonment of the site, which is quite sad 
All the best for the OFFICIAL FACEBOOK PAGE, every new post is always very well received 
To say that in this moment right now the page has 1.100.187 LIKES !!!   |

Ok, less than an hour on the official website of the band does have hung this post  with this photo (I hope not bother to share the photo here, not doing something ilegal) Friends
Without the talent and inspiration from this man Europe would most likely NOT exist!

The amazing band TAX THE HEAT who we are taking out on our Anniversary tour in November are up for BEST NEW BAND at the prestigious Classic Rock Awards. If you like the lads please give 'em a vote.

And well, to me it's absolutely crazy and incomprehensible that a band promotes the nomination awards that another band on their official facebook page and not promote their own nomination. EUROPE hang this post promoting and asking for the vote to TAX THE HEAT in their nomination to CLASSIC ROCK AWARDS, (absolutely deserved nomination, I can't say anything bad about this band) and there is not a single post this summer on the nomination of EUROPE to Rockbjörnen awards: HARD ROCK / METAL OF THE YEAR (ARETS hardrock / metal) in Sweden. Anyone understand? I don't. Any comment, any post, no oficial info on the nomination, only some fans in Facebook in their private profiles did campaign on to get people to vote. I do not understand anything, I think there are people around the band that works against them, or at least as in this case used EUROPE for other purposes, ... I'm so tired of so many blows to the fans of this band, the more absolute silence on important news for the band and for the people who follow them and as now try to use us to vote another band LOL really  what and why I mean, is supposed that this page is of Europe, I guess ... Well at least for me is time to think about my support this band ... I'll finish the year but for the next album if things continue like this, I take distance, I love this band but this makes no sense

Maybe since Europe is already a consolidated band known worldwide, they are altruist and try to help other bands that deserve more attention to be more known. I think it's something good. By the way, I've seen that Europe won a Rockbjörnen award in 1986  |

ricardo , yeah! I find it nice and altruistic promote another band, it's a good thing. But why not promote themselves? It has also sense, don't think in this case is a matter of misunderstood humility Sure, the Swedish award was won twice, once in 1986 and again in 2015, but if they have been nominated in 2016 again, why don't share it with people?  And about IMPERIAL JADE  Still no news. The band has also reported in their facebook about the concerts, but Europe still not, ... maybe this band doesn't deserve a piece of altruistic ??

We cannot know for sure but maybe they are friends of TAX THE HEAT. I have the impression that IMPERIAL JADE has been designated by RockNRock and maybe Europe don't even know them yet.

Everything is possible ... your thought is kinder than mine LOL ... I think someone is caring to promote TAX THE HEAT there is a promoter behind or a producer or a manager with common interests in this band or something like that .... because I am not talking at any time about the "band members" I don't think they are on these issues, I'm talking about the people in charge of their information and promotion of its image on social networks. And on IMPERIAL JADE, I sincerely believe that someone in the band team has given its approval to play before EUROPE but basically they don't care, ... as they did not care to have the dates of the concerts in Madrid and Barcelona wrong for days, ... It's the general procedure, I don't think there's anything against this band (Imperial Jade) or Spain, of course no !!  is simply a passive attitude, not reporting correctly or update the official websites of the band. It's the passive attitude of the last years since the close of the official forum. Just my thoughts |

Yesterday the Official Facebook Page of EUROPE informed the fans about that London isn't still SOLD OUT, good thing because in last days in the Official Page of ROANDHOUSE put SOLD OUT, so maybe some people thought that was so, but NOT.
Is wonderful when they updated the info via their oficcial pages ...
