Often interviews repeat always the same concepts with similar questions and answers and such. But lately two or three interviews of EUROPE showed the “wind of change” or I should say that I perceive there is a clear evolution going through and it’s a very positive and enthusiastic one! The whole excitement about touring in America, is genuinely presented and while the Band used in the past to highlight their need for some rest and time with their families, now you can really feel the urge of hitting stages and recording new stuff. You can really feel that they are getting their engines starting again and they’re willing to do it. The exact opposite reaction to what happened in the 90’s when they split. Talking about perceptions, Mic highlighted recently that Joey is gonna do something on his own as well with Rock Meets Classic and now Joey is not giving himself away completely (as he did in the past years instead) either on some things that he still would like to explore and learn as a solo artist, which rang a bell inside of me, because it’s the sign that there is a forge of ideas and projects that is running on! So yeah, "nothing is constant but change"...and 2016 is gonna turn into a very exciting year! PS: I feel so PROUD to have answered Joey that Nothin’ To Ya was my favorite song from WOK in “unsuspicious times”, when almost nobody had still noticed that song and way before everyone jumped on that train, now that Joey clearly indicated that song as his favorite too! To me, this represents a priceless bond and acknowledgement and a sign that we share a similar way of thinking and feeling! www.goldminemag.com/article/band-europe-goes-beyond-final-countdown

I love the interview, Joey talks about some issues beyond what has been done before, albeit within his line of opinion. Glad to see the band happy. The idea that Cobb work with them again is great. I like the musical turn of the band towards a more vintage rock, exploring their musical influences and leaving aside the superproductions of the '80s but I wish did not extrapolate this to the projection of the band, and sometimes I think they do act as a band of modest but they are one of the BIG. This year they have lived moments that have changed a bit this, as collecting awards in UK and the announcement of GEICO. I think not leverage the media opportunities they have, with a little promotional work, could get a lot more, but they do not quite believe it. Joey talks about the power of the TV and the announcement of GEICO, ... this is the place they deserve.
