Sure, your thoughts about Lights and shadows sounds fantastic! So cool song to hear live with "new" touch. One of the best solos with keyboards and guitar taking turns.... certainly one of my favourites! (like many others ) So happy to have tickets for London. Hope to meet some of you there!

Yes! Tickets booked already. Hope to see some of you there! One can celebrate "unofficially", I guess. The best way that comes to mind is by seeing EUROPE on that date

READY OR NOT with no hard feelings for the planetary anthem, though...

Start from the dark Funny that you mentioned Shepherd's Bush Feb 2011 and Carrie. I was also kind of over-fed with Carrie back in 80's (although it provided some unforgettable close encounters in the darkness of the school disco ) But I stopped to listen this particular interpretation on DVD (and specially on CD) with new ears: it seems to be a perfect example of how Joey's voice has evolved during the years to reflect more deeper and stronger shadings. And give a feeling of mediating more genuine emotions by his interpretation. Take a listen if it has been some time!

As already said, I, too, love both songs. But my vote goes to READY OR NOT

The final countdown is history, a monument, something that always rings a thousand bells in my head when I hear it by surprise on the radio and an amazing thing every time I have the luck to get to a gig. I will always love our hymn even if I don't listen to it on my own initiative lately. > ent, you took the words out of my mouth > My vote goes to START FROM THE DARK

This is definately not easy. Heart of stone really touched me in 80's and got to know Start from the dark only recently. Musically and lyrically it has a stronger statement. I probably have a heart of stone but my vote goes to START FROM THE DARK.
