Wow, Stefania, so glad that you suggested that and made him think about it! It would be amazing to hear that!
I remember that I asked him "what about Children of the Mind in the setlist?" (in the near future). He stopped to think about that for a while, but was not that positive about it (He just explained that it's not that easy to take in new songs...)

Wow, great to hear that... I honestly hope that it will realize to you, some way or another...
To me it was more of pure chance, walking in the street at the right moment, encouraging myself to step forward and ask for a photo (Norum). Preparing myself to quickly vanish (not to bother them too much), I was overwhelmed by friendly invitation to join. My hasty chat got longer that I could ever imagine... there were other fans, too, but we were quite small group.
Maybe little town helped out a little bit...Maybe this would not happen by chance in London (November), although we hugged with Mic, Leven, Norum and (later Ian) and wished "See you in London" - ha-ha!
But I wish this same strange event could come to your way, too!

"Leven orientated", ha-ha! Very nice, polite way of putting it...

As Norum was explaining (referring to gig), he can start playing many of the songs by hearing the first tunes, the memory is then in fingers and everything starts automatically (even if forgotten what comes next in the setlist).
After that I understood the HOS thing, that it is not the names of the songs or lyrics (which occupy their memory), it' s just THE music...
And to be honest, I could not ask too many questions or praise their music too much... that seemed to call a change in the subject for them (turning into even asking question from me!).... Like they did not want to revolve around their (GREAT) work too much... So down-to-earth, modest and relaxed guys!

And I have to say I got a good chance of asking this by suddenly witnessing this discussion between Norum and Mic. They were recalling all the songs of TFC...."and then there was this...di-dy-dy-dyy...dy-dyy-dy...what was that? (meaning first notes of Heart of stone, can you believe!)... Mic was thinking... ohmm...hmmm...what was that... Heart of stone! Yes! (I almost could not believe my ears it took so long to figure out for both of them, but I could not shout the name inbetween having regocnized what John was humming... ) I guess their memory does not work song-title-oriented (like many of ours...) So funny moments!!!!

If you remember the discussion about order of songs to be played in TFC tour and possible never-played (surprise) songs (I'm sure it was here somewhere)? I got a chance to ask about this, too, after Umeå gig and the answers were very funny: Norum: Probably from start to finish - (boring way without surprises) - like they appear in the album. Judging from the other's (separate) answers (Ian laughing at Norum's answer, Mic saying it's not decided, yet) - I guess it's really not decided, yet. . I also asked Ian (I got a chance to meet him later on) if there could be "On broken wings" and he thought it could be possible. For "surprises" in songs, he remainded of the already ended recording session (in September) and anticipated some new material to be played...

Feeling little bit underdog for putting "Time has come" so high up in the charts (compared to others who has voted), I was relieved to listen (back in Umeå) Mic and John Norum talking about this song.... They both declared how they like playing that song...!

On topic: Lights & Shadows! I wanna hear that one too! I think it would really fit their current sound, if you know what I mean. Norum downtuning that riff, could be interesting...[/quote] If you remember this on "Light & Shadows" - so did I (for some weird reason...) when I got a chance to meet the guys after Umeå gig... So I asked Mic about this and he stopped to think about it for a while (as I've learned he's always polite... ). Then he said it could be a good idea and he likes the song. But when asking Leven (ha..ha...), he just blurted: "why, it's f* boring song..." and started humming the beginning of the song (to prove the boringness...) He was a funny guy although I like the song... Funny things (and questions) you have in mind when you get this chance to ask anything.... must be the sudden thrill and heat of the moment!
