It's a bit weird choice here, because it's sung in Serbian / other South Slavic speakers would understand the meaning of the song It's a classic RnR stuff from the 80s, the title of the song is roughly translated as 'Drop by Drop'. I got it stuck around my head all day long, and I wonder how it would sound if Joey sung it (GTO style)

I also received my Special Edition copy, and I have a question regarding one line of 'Pictures': "Among the mother's many suns"... Shouldn't it be "Among the mother's many sons"? It's more appropriate, and as Mark said, it bugs me that there are many spelling and interpunctuation mistakes :/

It's interesting to see how you guys respond to the album after a few more listens I myself started humming 'The Siege' and 'Whenever You're Ready'around the house these days.

A better album than War of kings! Mostly because it has a better production. But also the songs are a notch better. I hear people saying that Europe doesn't sound like Europe. To me they sound more like Europe than they did on War of kings. The guitarwork in songs like The siege, Kingdom united, GTO and Whenever you're ready reminds me of old school Europe a lot! And yes, songs like Haze or Wolves are a bit weird but they're cool. I have a feeling that those songs will grow after some time. To me this album comes in just after Secret society at the number 2 spot. Since the reunion that is What he said

I forgot to state my cons for this album: similar riffs on some of the songs, and rushed solos on Norum's part; I get this feeling he recorded them in his first or second take. However, it's a great album for my taste, I was really taken by surprise of their approach. The production is superb, Cobb really was a crucial member those two weeks in the studio. I'm glad they're trying out some new stuff with their 70s based influences, and I'm also glad that this album will probably live up to its expectations as people dive deeper into the main theme and the dynamic, on-the-edge pace

I have not had a chance to hear the whole album yet, I'm sure it's great but it will have to be really something special to knock 'Secret Society' and 'War of Kings' from their pedestals. The best 2 albums from the second phase (for me). They're also my favorites, and together with 'Walk The Earth' - probably the top 3 for now

I'm not sure, I love them all I would mention The Siege, Wolves, GTO (Joey's pipes on this one are goddamn strong!) and Haze (currently my favorite). The production is on another level compared to WoK, the dynamics are much greater than their previous albums, it's like the whole album is a story for itself; progressive elements can be heard throughout the 40 minutes, and as their press release said it's "an album that has instant appeal but is also an album that needs to be lived with, in order to uncover its depth." They have done it again, and I think they will surprise many people with this epic piece of work

Well, the wait is over. I got a glimpse of the whole album just awhile ago. All I can say for now is: Europe, is that you and how did you get so awesome and enigmatic and wild and evolved into something great? Mixed emotions right here, didn't see this pace coming at me. I will maybe summarize some of the songs later on, but WtE is surely a solid potential of becoming one of my favorite albums of theirs, if not the best. You gotta get your hands on this one, guys and gals!

Imagine the amount of pressure and temptation I'm getting on listening to 'Election Day', since today we have our own official election day here in Macedonia. :/ So I think this is an excellent justification to give in to the temptation See, I have these nerves of steel, so I think I'll hold on for a bit longer
