I'm sure we all have one or more great moments of the band this year, ... A concert, a song, a commentary on the band ... sure there are many. To me: - John Norum playing the solo "Girl from Lebanon" last June in Madrid. Someone in the press (EL PORTAL DEL METAL) said after the concert Barcelona: "... Girl From Lebanon intro with a killer sustain almost made me literally mourn, was the best part of the concert..." - My trip to Sweden to be in the band's 30th anniversary concert, even though I don't like the festivals, though I was sick, but I had to be there, and I did. It was special. What a great night and DVD! - The DVD of the 30th anniversary, is fabulous, fantastic, ... Joey's voice, the staging of the band, ... and be number one in Sweden. - The great reviews from the press received by the band along this year, has relocated to EUROPE where deserves among the biggest.

I have many great moments and memories. It's been an intense year. Maybe too much. 8 concerts out of a total of 15, more than a half. Also too many insights which I can't tell: the other - and sometimes dark - side of the moon... - Inzell: the emotion of a concert after 5 month and a half of abstinence (Am I becoming Europe-addicted??!? ) and to have survived the flooding on the day after
- SRF: this monumental stage, to have met so dear forumers and been part of this piece of history
- Download: to have been there when Europe walked that stage for the first time in their lives . My daughter fainted among the crowd during another act, but the medical team has been wonderful
- Barcelona: breakfast with Joey and this warm hug from John N. like he was my big brother (!), totally unexpected from him, the "nordic beast"!
- Tysnes: I met Mic for the first time in person and he said "thanks for coming"! What a wonderful and sweet person he is! Fierce and savage crowd though (women in particular!), apart from dear friends Stein, Tone Irene and Atle...
- Istanbul: Joey, the perfect rock star, descending with an athletic jump from the airport (VIP) vehicle, at the gate back to Heathrow. I will never forget how impressive he was Mind I was there waiting my own flight, so totally unexpected scene...
- Dubai: the flight with most of the band and the crew. Due to cancellation of the show in Mexico they ended up being on the very same flight I was booked on from Istanbul to Dubai. The handshake of Joey and his "How are you?" Oh, why he has got this thrilling "r" in his voice that makes him so charming? My legs were trembling, I admit, in spite of having got used to him...well maybe, not sure I have got used...
- Sandviken: the warm and relaxed atmosphere on the stage (even the manager walked on the stage with Joey on his back!) and Christmas time in Upplands on the day after, with so beautiful lights at the windows!

Wow ! Very impressive Michaela Italy ! Then, for the new year, I'm wishing you as many wonderful things as in 2013 ! For me, the most awesome memory of 2013 will stay that : I attended the word premiere of John and Tone Norum tour !!! I was in Jönköping, at the first row (around one meter from NORUM himself !), and could have touched the fingers of "God Himself" if I had spread my hand !! My favorite moment of the show is "mediterranean sundance" :

The best EUROPE moments in 2014: The Europe's concerts that I've been 03/03/14 Waterfront / Stockholm / SWEDEN: Being in Stockholm is always special, and to hear the album Wings of Tomorrow live was an amazing experience, magical moment. 27/03/14 La Riviera / Madrid / SPAIN: EUROPE is much loved in Spain, in Madrid the concert was a Thursday a day of work and no promotion except the M80 radio the sponsors but the room was almost full, about 2,500 people supporting and enjoying with the band. I was at the concert with gemaim, it was really great ! A pleasure to meet her and share the band concert in our hometown . 13/04/14 London Hammersmith Apollo / London / UK: The headliner was FOREIGNER, but the band gave a great concert, I remember a particularly careful aesthetic in a beautiful theater with spectacular lights.
