The first gig on this leg of the War of Kings world tour. Is anyone here going? I don't but I know that some ladies of this forum are there, so I hope we'll have some good review of the concert.

Thank you Eva Tomorrow and Stefania! Some thoughts: * 20 songs sounds pretty good to me! (Well, 19 if you don't count the drum solo.) * It's great that they played "Vasastan"! * They played seven songs from War of Kings: "War of Kings", "Hole in My Pocket", "The Second Day", "Praise You", "Vasastan", "Nothin' to Ya" and "Days of Rock 'n' Roll". * I really hope they'll swap out some of the old songs from gig to gig on this leg of the tour. If it were up to me, I would swap out "Scream of Anger" and "Sign of the Times", for example with "Stormwind" and "Prisoners in Paradise".

* It's great that they played "Vasastan"! AGREE! * They played seven songs from War of Kings: "War of Kings", "Hole in My Pocket", "The Second Day", "Praise You", "Vasastan", "Nothin' to Ya" and "Days of Rock 'n' Roll".7 new songs, is that a record? Because that is...a lot. This time, I dont really mind actually, I really like all of them Personally I would love to hear California 405 and Rainbow Bridge as well sometime. * I really hope they'll swap out some of the old songs from gig to gig on this leg of the tour. If it were up to me, I would swap out "Scream of Anger" and "Sign of the Times", for example with "Stormwind" and "Prisoners in Paradise".Yeah man. Totally agree. We all know now that Mic really like Sign of the Times, but c'mon. It's been in setlist for 10 straight years. Would be nice to swap things around a bit! Same goes for Let the Good Times Rock by the way. I'm going to say something crazy here, but if we must pick a song from that album, why not go for..... *drumroll*....LIGHTS AND SHADOWS! .... There is not much talk among fans about that song, is it? It's almost like....a forgotten song haha. But seriously, I think this one would really sound good in 2015. Just think about it. Down-tuned a bit, I know for sure that Norum would make that riff sound extra heavy, fat and dirty And Mic can also shine since it has a brilliant keyboard solo. More like a keyboard/guitar duel, so that's even more awesome! So! Who's up for Lights and Shadows?!

To be honest; I'm completely underwhelmed with the setlist! Apart from the new songs it's the same old same old all over again. C'mon guys you can do much better than this! Where are all the obscure songs? And I'm not only talking about songs from the classic era! Where are songs like Hero, Flames, Human after all, Let the children play, Devil sings the blues, In my time, Doghouse and Beautifull disaster to name just a few?!? I really hope they improve a lot during the tour otherwise it's only one show for me.

I'm not a big fan of that song but I agree that it would be interesting to hear it live and that it would sound perfect in a modern version. I think it might be a bit challenging for Joey, don't you? From OOTW there are a few "forgotten" songs that I would love to hear live like Never say die or Tomorrow, that have never ever been played live, or Tower's calling that was played live only during the OOTW tour. But this will probably never happen. Lights and shadows has more chances probably. In general I'm ok with the setlist, long and full of fast tracks, 'cause I see that it's difficult to please everybody. There are still people that go to Europe concerts for the classics and that would be disappointed without 7doors or even Sign of the times (while I have the feeling that not many find Let the good... so necessary). But the band must shake it a bit during the tour. Among the others I'd swap Hole in my pocket (there's The beast already ) with California 405 , Scream of anger with Stormwind and Firebox with Bag of bones. Finally I agree with vielip : Start from the dark and Secret society deserve more consideration. Definetly.

I played Secret society yesterday and to me it's a masterpiece! Everything is close to 100% on that album. Especially the drumsound kills but the overall sound of the album is topnotch! The funny thing is that it's the only album that is produced by the band themselves. Saves them a lot of money if they do it again with the next album
