The Battle of the Songs 2015-2016: Only young twice!

Hello dear Aphasians,
The time for voting the songs of the Group A is now expired.
I thank you all for dedicating some of your precious time to this game and for all the very interesting contributions. You´ve been awesome and your partecipation overwhelming! You're so many! Was it because I clarified that I don’t sell encyclopedia? Damn, I knew I had to say that also in the old battle… Jokes apart, people, it´s great to have you all here and I really hope that you will stay with us and enjoy the game until the end. It’s not by chance, in fact, that the famous sea captain Francis Drake used to say: “There must be a beginning of any great matter but the continuing unto the end, until it be thoroughly finished, yields the true glory”. Maybe Sir Drake is a bit obscure in his saying but I would translate that with a simple "keep on voting!"
And now, without any further ado let’s take a look at the final rank of Group A:

So, the first eight songs go on to phase two! And every single voter (except one) has included 7doors and Days of rnr in his/her selection, what an astonishing result! It seems that Eva Tomorrow’s campaign for the final triumph of SDH is being fruitful. But don’t declare victory too soon! It’s still an early phase and the road is still long.
And the two songs from War of Kings, they seem already very dear to the fans. LLAE missed some votes at the beginning (almost causing me a heart attack) but then it took off pretty well. Very good result for Wasted time and Let the good times rock too, while for Firebox and Spirit of the underdog it’s been a little bumpier road. But the important thing, for the moment, was to go on and they did it. We’ll see them all again in phase two.
Regarding the songs that didn’t make it, what can I say? “Little bit of lovin'” didn’t actually catch that plane to phase two, it stopped just halfway to heaven and now the time has come to say farewell to it. I wish I could believe it can still be saved but, deep inside, I know that they’re only broken dreams.
