Hello again!  My list from the Group D (in the order provided by the contest): Rock the night: another gem of the first EUROPE! Everyone is blown away as soon as it starts, no matter if it’s from an old tape recorder or at the latest live show! The chorus is one of the most known and sung along in Rock history! Lights and shadows: perfect from the beginning till the end! I absolutely love the “give and take” between the guitar and the keyboards! Kee and Mic show all their undisputed talents!!! It was included in the setlist of the band’s live shows of the “Out of this world” tour and I still remember it as it was yesterday!  Here comes the night: one of the most beautiful outtakes! It’s unintelligible how it could be discarded from the tracklist of the album! The first time I listened to it, it was at a dear friend’s place in the 90’s from a tape given to her directly by Ian Haugland!!!! What a honour!!!! Well, I couldn’t stop listening to it!!!!! The melody and Joey’s voice conquered me straight away! 'Til my heart beats down your door: well, I know it’s not among the most appreciated songs from the fans but I’ve always loved this one!!!! The keyboards and the line “I’m gonna keep on knocking, knocking like before…” make me feel in ecstasy!!!!! I still turn up the volume to the max whenever I listen to it!!!!  Settle for love: the melody carries me away through a million of thoughts… what a delicate touch from the guitar… Joey’s voice is so warm and “round”… Love is not the enemy: very powerful song both musically and lyrically! Love in all its forms is not what we should fear… so true! Second day: the guys treat a very serious matter with full maturity and refinement... They also love this song very much because it bears a very strong message! Great atmosphere when it's played live... Rainbow bridge: it's "unusual", the keyboards remind of a far land... "Nothing can touch the living hope the human spirit owns", what a meaningful line... |

Hello again! Rainbow bridge: it's "unusual", the keyboards remind of a far land... "Nothing can touch the living hope the human spirit owns", what a meaningful line... That very Middle Eastern influenced riff of Mic's is wonderful. I loved the song as soon as I heard it and that chorus, too! I really hope Second Day and Rainbow Bridge go onto the next level. |

At a first glance we realize that one of the most voted songs is the wonderful classic ROCK THE NIGHT  The band play it always in their concerts, I like a lot in a particular way this performance at the Sonisphere Festival (2010), ... Enjoy it ! 
jarkam, you know, HERO is on the right track so I hope it stays for the next phase, otherwise there will be no one face of kitten for express my sadness   ...
