That's nice you got to see the guys, look forward to seeing all your pictures! I think my wife would have started to look at me like I am crazy (or divorced me ) if I had made her wait in the cold - so probably best I didn't persuade her! The guys were all really really cool at the meet and greet, although it was busy and there was only a short time they signed all my stuff - even Joey's setlist from Friday, and Ian signed his drumstick I caught on the Balls and Banners tour! We exchanged a few nice words.... great memories. And the Demon Head beer they gave us was good also - although it was past its expiry date

I really enjoyed both Londen shows! Europe were excellent. To be honest they blew me (and BSR) away. I think I never heard them with such amazing sound! You could hear every little detail. And I've never heard John Norum's guitar sound THAT great, unbelievable!! And the surprises on the first night were amazing ofcourse. When I heard the opening chords of Ready or not I couldn't believe my ears. And with Rock the night that early in the set you could expect anything to happen from there on. Seven doors hotel was also very cool to hear. And as I didn't hear Cherokee live for some years that one was very welcome also. And on the second night we got Wasted time which was extremely cool ofcourse! Also the new songs came across very good I have to say. The sound much better than on the album. On record it's okay but it lacks some real punch for my liking. Live they kick in really heavy and punchy. Which I like very much. Oh, BSR were also good but they were waaaaaay too loud! Compared to Europe they were one big cacaphony of noise. And as a result all the details got lost. Europe were the true winners on both evenings!

We were stood on the barrier by John N on Friday, although his guitars dominated the sound from there what a sound it was. Really appreciate John's playing even more now. We stood further back on Saturday for a more balanced sound. The ringing in my ears has only just started to fade from Friday!!!

About concerts on Friday and Saturday (and beyond my time M & G, ... I think I'm starting to react ) I did not know much about BLACK STAR RIDERS and I was not with very good attitude to the concert, but I enjoyed them, they are great, sounded really good but perhaps very strong music, the singer's voice was eaten by the sound of the guitars in some moments but I liked, I'm hooked on its song "Kindom of the Lost", I love it. But if BSR showed us a rock with energy and quality, EUROPE also shoved beautiful and elegant nuances ... how I enjoyed both concerts !! The new songs were great, is the real EUROPE !! PRAISE YOU, wonderful with Joey singing with his heart, spectacular. And then the gifts that made us with READY OR NOT ... that moment when Joey gets guitar Friday and begin the first chords !! I wanted to scream !!!!!! Yeeeees Oh my god! that song! It is perfect in pace, sound, energy !! and of course my wonderful SEVEN DOORS HOTEL (second in our battle of the songs, and for me should have been the winner) ... with the start of your keyboard Mic very emotional ... I sang all songs ! Incredible. And then as total party with the classics that always sound as good live; CHEROKEE is perfect for to move the crowd, ROCK THE NIGHT, and DAYS OF ROCK N ROLL the song that I needed dancing ! But I was in a seating area ...OMG ! LOL soooo, was really difficult. And for the final our planetary anthem. It was quite a party. Thanks !!!
