War of Kings (the album) is album of the month in the Dutch metal and hardrock magazine 'Aardschok'! A very very good achievement and something to be proud of! As far as I can remember this is the first time Europe achieved this in the magazine. They get 87/100 as a score. Sorry, in Dutch for a second  : Serieus?? Goeie zaak zeg! Top!! Ben vaste lezer, dus morgen de nieuwe maar even halen dan!  |

Seriously... Children of the mind is awesome ... Hope to hear it live. It's going to be a killer live! Specialy Norum and Mics solo! So cool co-op solo with the guitar and keyboard sound!  And Hole in my pocket also killer live song! Joeys hard core voice in this one! Sounds amazing! Ruff and though voice with power and speed and nice hammond sound in the back. And of course Norums guitar! Days of rock n roll... Cool different sound. Thin Lizzy UFO mix there. Nice mix of songs so far. Now bring out the whole album please!! |

First of all - thanks people for posting the previews.  Another DARK one, yes! Is the album a Re-start from the dark or what?!   I will definetely like this record and especially the title track.  The atmosphere reminds me a bit of SABBATH-stuff like THE SHINING or HEADLESS CROSS, and the WOT album as well... !  |

Feel the same, P3aphoto : There's a nice mix of different styles of songs in this album ( from what we can see with those 4 first songs!). Very rich ! I wonder if we are not going to have the best of all EUROPE albums here !! Now, something else : according to Ian, EUROPE is doing a signing session right now : I didn't notice that they talked about signed CD previously ?? ? |

Hij zegt daarin onder andere dat ze sinds ze begonnen zijn bijna elke show hebben opgenomen. En dat het de bedoeling is om ooit een box met allerlei live materiaal uit te gaan brengen. Komt er allemaal (wel) een keer zegt ie.Dat zou wat zijn zeg!! |

Children of the mind is another solid song. On first hearing it is not that special but this one has the attitude of being a real grower. It has that Dio vibe, slow and grooving. Let's see how this one develops after a couple of listenings... Edit: Sorry! I posted this in the wrong thread....again!!   |
