Today the band has shared their preferences about the songs on the album "Wings of Tomorrow" which we all know will play in its entirety on the next tour in Sweden, I think it is a good time for remember this album in our forum and try to develop our preferences about the songs. I don't want to call it "battle"  because the real battle was fought as last year  ... but in this case we can vote on what songs we like more, giving 1 Point to the song that we like least and 10 points the preferred, between these two extremes we can go from 1 to 10 voting the rest of the songs . (Sorry my poor English explanation  ) Always are welcomed comments, pictures, feelings, memories of any song in live, anecdotes, ...   The songs WINGS OF TOMORROW album :"Stormwind" (Joey Tempest)

I'm not really fond of the ballads from this album and a bit tired of "wings" and "scream". I don't listen very much to this album lately (but the planned gig will be a wonderful opportunity to refresh it). If I did I would surely not skip the four songs that got more points in my list. The others, well...But listening to it as if it was the first time I must say that's a great album. Happy 30th birthday, Wings!

Thank you friend for your input ...,  The evolution of EUROPE's ballads is very interesting, but this album has "Open your heart" that is timeless, plus precious, for me with "In my time", "My woman my friend" and "Hero" may be one of the best. About "Dreamer" is awesome when the band sang "a capella" in the past, really nice. "Scream of Anger" is the song that the band's been played more in live next to "Open your heart" from this álbum, I understand that you can be "a little tired", but in live is absolutely amazing, magnificent Joey's voice, is one of those songs that have you in tension from beginning to end and when finish, you understand why this band is so great  ! It's sure that SOAnger in live is able to make new fans ...! |

I simply can't do this, sorry! I understand you perfectly vielip ... is very hard to decide between all these songs, and probably unfair, don't worry! ... in any event and without you assign a note to each song, your comments about this album would be also welcome. |

The first conclusion we can draw is that "lyin' eyes" is not having a great reception  . And you know, your favourite song "Wasted time", is also among those chosen by John Leven and Ian in their post in Facebook as their favorite songs. I'll post results on this thread the last few days before the "Tour for Sweden" and thus see which are the most admired songs of "Wings of Tomorrow" album by fans of this beloved forum. Let's see what happens! Someone else wants give your input? |

Good for "Treated bad again" in the second position, is a great song and one of the most curiosity provokes me for to see it in live, how will sound? ... we'll see  ! |
