What do you think of this idea - to make a video with a compilation of all Norum solos in performed by Marcello and all Marcello solos performed by Norum ?  Let me explain what I mean: Look, you listen all songs from the albums 83-86 by Marcello performed - everything solo (Seven Doors Hotel, Paradize Bay, In The future To Come, Wings Of Tomorrow, Open Your Heart, Stormwind, Scream Of Anger, Dance The Night Away and The Final Countdown album of course. Next you listen all songs from the albums 88-91 by Norum performed - everything solo too (Superstitious, Let The Good Times Rock, More Than Meets The Eye, Sign Of The Times, Ready Or Not, Girl From Lebanon, Seventh Sign, Yesterday's News and Prisoners In Paradise (thanks the Sweden Rock concert for that ) What do you think? I would like to know your opinion I will waiting your comments  |

I did that a long time ago and works well , now with the full show in hammersmith 87 you can compare with more accuracy the same guitar solos!  !!. Great idea dude !. |

It seems to me a good idea  , a thread with solos of Kee and John from their differents stages, yes I like it.... And is because I think this forum is prepared to talk about it, in the old Forum ETB were generated very unpleasant  conversations and unnecessary rivalry between them, but here we all have respect to both musicians althought we have our preference for one or the other, so ok. Woow "tarlanist", great promotional video  ! Two titans !!! |

It seems to me a good idea , a thread with solos of Kee and John from their differents stages, yes I like it.... And is because I think this forum is prepared to talk about it, in the old Forum ETB were generated very unpleasant conversations and unnecessary rivalry between them, but here we all have respect to both musicians althought we have our preference for one or the other, so ok. Woow "tarlanist", great promotional video ! Two titans !!! I personally think, they are both great musicians - worthy as guitarists and singers (although in the video shows only the guitar solos). Thanks for rating clip, and yes they both deserve to be called "titans" |

This idea is great, tarlanist ! Very interesting comparisons between 2 awesome guitarists. And the members of this forum have enough class, not to make of this thread a battle zone (not like on the former official Europe forum ! ) For the moment, I don't have time enough to give you my impressions. Because I want to listen very carefully to what you have done ! So, I'll do it as soon as possible... But I remember the video made by europecod some years ago : that was great ! (And BTW, europecod, I take the opportunity to tell you how wonderful was your channel for me, when I began to enjoy the band Europe around 2008 : it was one of the greatest at this time. I'm happy to be able to thank you today ) Now, tarlanist, maybe you could change the title of the thread, "waht do you think of this idea", as we all agree to say that : "this idea is excellent". After all, the words "Norum" and "Marcello" are not swearwords ! (at least, I hope so.)  |
