At this stage every choice is as heavy as stone. I'm voting for: Rock the night (1986) Wake up call (2004) and... we'll see what happens!

(hey guesswho??, guess what? I think that from now on I will call you Guesswhich? ). Hey, I like this name ! All right... But that's not my fault if all the comments of the fans here are so interesting ! Sometimes, they make me change my mind (like Michaela Italy and ent, who convinced me about "Mother's son") Well, concerning this group, I must face the truth : almost all of my favorites are lost already ; and this time again, I think my favorites will leave the game soon, from what I've seen of the other Aphasians' votes. Because the 2 I like the most are : -Cherokee -Spirit of the underdogAnd obviously, "wake up call" and RTN have more success. I'm just trying a little argument to maybe convince you like you convinced me formerly : "Cherokee", IMO, gets THE special rythm that makes of Europe music a big "tank" of energy. And yes, like watercolourgirl , it was one of the songs that made me like Europe, a few years ago. Generally, I'm more fond of their recent songs, but I love Cherokee.

TTM was one of my favorite when PIP came out (actually at that time I was very impressed by the whole album, I thought it would have been a great success and was a bit disappointed with the final charts). But ent , you were 3 years old when PIP came out, weren't you? (Sorry, a bit out of topics, but I could'nt resist... BTW, did you notice that there's more than 10 000 post on this thread ? ) -------------------------------------Signed : "Guesswhich from Guesswhere" !

All right... But that's not my fault if all the comments of the fans here are so interesting ! Sometimes, they make me change my mind (like Michaela Italy and ent, who convinced me about "Mother's son") As Victor Hugo once said: "Change your opinions, keep to your principles; change your leaves, keep intact your roots". Or, as I sometimes say, it's not that important if you like "A mother's son" better than "Memories"; what really counts is that Europe makes f... great music! And obviously, "wake up call" and RTN have more success. Things are still in progress and, actually, Cherokee has good chances to make it...it's gonna be interesting... But ent , you were 3 years old when PIP came out, weren't you? Actually I was born in A.D. 1974 (and proud... ). I've seen with these eyes Italy winning the soccer world championship in 1982 and Europe on the top of the charts all over the world in 1986. I've seen the wall of Berlin falling down in 1989, Europe (the band) splitting in 1992 and Europe (the continent) go together in the very same year. I've seen 9/11/2001 ( ), Europe (the band) reunion in 2003 and I've seen Italy winning the soccer world championship again in 2006. I've seen a lot of things happening but still feel young at heart and eager to see more BTW, did you notice that there's more than 10 000 post on this thread ? ) Well, it's more than 10,000 views (not post), but it's anyway a great result. Thanks for having noted that! P.S. (probably 9,000 of those views are me checking what's going on )

Does anyone else? probably in that year there was an interjection of planets that made the children born there we were predisposed to be "Europe's fans" ... or maybe it's because we were teenagers at the time of The Final Countdown , right? latter certainly makes more sense. I also remember perfectly the moments of glory and bitter moments of EUROPE when they broke up, and when Norum left the band ..., so I'm living now in an intense way and really enjoying every good news of this band.

Hello folks , the time to vote the songs of Group B is now expired. I think that the result is somehow unexpected since we say goodbye to one of the most important tracks in Europe’s long history. “Rock the night” had some problems also in the previous phase when it won a tie-break. This time the sentence has been irrevocable. Here’s the final result: Wake up call: 8 Cherokee: 7Rock the night: 6 Spirit of the underdog: 3
So Wake up call and Cherokee join the final 16 .We also say goodbye to “Spirit”. It never really fought for winning but it’s a very good result that it has come this far. In the previous phase it kicked out Aphasia and for me this group would have been even more terrible if Aphasia was there. Sooo, let’s move on and see what comes: Group C Seven doors hotel (1983) Scream of anger (1984) Open your heart (1984) Ninja (1986)
Destiny (a little pushed by EuropeMagnum) gathered together four songs from the eighties. Here we have: - The suggestive single from the debut album inspired by the horror movie “The beyond”; - The heavy rocker from Wings of tomorrow co-written by Joey Tempest and Marcel Jacob; - The sweet power ballad introduced by an haunting guitar arpeggio again from WOT; - The fast and addictive melody of the “ancient knight” from “The final countdown”. As Eva Tomorrow has already pointed out, this one is an awesome and difficult group. I’m very curious to see the result. This session will close on next Saturday, September the 28th at 22.00. I thank everyone for voting and also for being here without voting. As vicky said decisions are heavy as stones in this stage and I perfectly understand you, Marina Art, if you couldn't get to a final decision. Still I'm happy that you're here with us. As for me, I need to think about my vote. Like Joey says, it all takes time, a whole lot of patience… Now the floor is yours, choose your favorite two!
