I'm sure Norum would love to collaborate with BCC, but I don't think he would join them as a full-time member. Speaking of playing in two bands at the same time, Norum has said in interviews that he got an offer to join UFO in 2003 and he accepted, but then he found out that the other Europe members wanted to do a reunion, so he told UFO that he couldn't join them after all.
A quote from Norum from a Classic Rock interview: "The UFO guys understood that Europe is my family. Their manager did say, 'Can't you just do both?' But I'm not on anabolic steroids."

Yes, but on the other hand, BCC is not working the same way like UFO : Because every BCC member has his own career out of this band : Bonamassa always kept a solo project, for instance... UFO was more a full-time band. But BCC is not. And... What a great publicity for Norum himself and Europe !

I hope not ... I don't think that a guitar player can belong to two bands and also combine it with a solo career, not even John Norum! so ... much luck to BBC with their search but I wouldn't like that will be Norum ...

Regarding this info, is not the band BCC who named John in first place. It´s just fans, on a fanpage (not even the official BCC page) making some sort of wish list or favourites replacements for JB. www.facebook.com/bccommunion?ref=ts&fref=tsAs you can see, on the official site of BCC, there is no info about the future plans with the band, no tourdates, no statements, nothing… yet. Maybe they just simply split now JB is gone. Or maybe they will search for another guitarist, who knows? But remember that John has a lot of scheduled work in 2013: acoustic shows with Tone; summers festivals with E; recording his own album; then (beginning of 2014) new E album and tour, not to mention some free time to spend with his family. Honestly, I don´t think he has the time to get involved in another project, but I would like if he join BCC as a guest, if they are going to play live sometime… That would be great for everyone!!

I've checked the facebook page of BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION, ... they announced the 15/03 Joe Bonamassa left the band, and in the next days suggested the names of several guitarists to their fans ... including John Norum. It's gratifying that them value the work of John but somehow are giving the names of candidates for to their fans and ... I don't think very well because John already has band, ... It's as if the singer of another big band, goes out of band, eg WHITESNAKE and in facebook they propose to Joey Tempest ... WHAT ? I hope that my SPOILER works I love it.
