Blues or hard rock ? And when he speaks about 2013 : early 2013 or end of 2013 ? Because he's so busy with EUROPE (and hopefully he'll be in 2013, too..!) : I don't see when he could find time to record it, as everybody knows he's so difficult with his playing ? Unless EUROPE makes a big break next year

It will be a blues rock album definitely, in the same path of "Play Yard Blues". I´m wondering also, how in the hell he will find some time to record an album???  But being such a talented musician, we only can trust him, right?  |

It's a great news. I believe that John must have the songs composed already and surely he will be expecting to end the Tour for Scandinavia to record it, about the beginning of the year. Play Yard Blues and Bag of Bones have touches blues, musical genre that so much John likes it, to if that very probably it will go in this line. I feel curiosity for knowing how it will be the new album in solitarily, he is so good and has a lot of quality so is a pleasure to listen to him. John we are ready ...  |

According to the official John facebook page in a short time we will have news about the new album of John.
I have curious if it is in the line of PYB or the style has changed. At the moment we have no information on the release date or the name, we know nothing ... but surely for the birthday of John (this month) there is any more news. Let's see ...

So now, we know a little more about this album : 1) out in september 2) some guest stars playing on it. 3) Live shows following the releasing (maybe in an international dimension...) All of this sounds great.  |

All of this sounds great. Now the question is : Among those guest stars, will there be some of his mates from Europe ? Remember that Mic was playing in Play Yard Blues... And another question is : Will our friend Michael Jessen play on it, too ? At least, do you think there'll be some participation of the young Jake Thomas Norum ? Someone told me he was learning hard the guitar. I'm pretty sure John would like to add a little "work" from his son on his new CD. Many of us saw Jake Thomas on stage, on his father's shoulders, last summer ; which shows he'd like to involve him in his artistic life... |

There is really no news about the new solo John's album, a few days ago his Wm confirmed in facebook that could be for September or October. I hope that after the concert in Norway which is the closing date (so far by Europe) know more.  |
