I still regret not to have followed all this 30 years ago, which I could, if only I had known...and my reason to be at Hovet in Stockholm tomorrow. I am probably the last one arrived in the Europe family, but I want to shout:  EUROPE! ...or happy 30th anniversary! |

yes, (but I thought it was the 13th...! ) Anyway, Happy Birthday EUROPE !  30 years old : So young and more perfect than ever...    I used to think so too.. but apparently it's the night before the 13th which is celebrated as Lucia night in Sweden. |

I´ve always thought the anniversary for Rock SM is on December 13... Some sites says that it was on Sunday 12, 1982 and some other says it was the day after. According to John Norum´s oficial biography: "The day of the finals was on December 13th, National Swedish holiday, at Grona Lund, in Stockholm". www.johnnorum.se/biography/I´m really confused, is it today or tomorrow???  |

It's December 12. The Swedish Europe biography Den stora rockdrömmen has a picture of some newspaper clippings about Europe's victory in the Rock-SM final, and the clipping from the newspaper Aftonbladet has the date "Monday 13 December 1982", which is the date this particular issue of the newspaper was published.
