From the beginning of the world constructive critics have been the bricks to build something better. Poor times we live... you're right, but what is labeled as "constructive" often seems only to be there to put the blame on someone. and don't get me wrong, i have to admit i'm also posting bullshit sometimes (some may think "always" ). but i've also watched some guys (not in THIS forum though ) posting crap full of disrespect, and then crying like babies when their comments were deleted. if you want some respect then show some... some fakebook comment was erased somewhere? what an incredible tragedy ...pffft imho the main problem of fakebook is not censorship, it's superficiality. Question: What the hell is Firebox about anyway? my interpretation: it's some autobiographic stuff concerning Joey as a songwriter, and deals with the expectations of many people delivering "epic" and "magical" songs in the tradition of TFC on and on and on. but maybe i'm wrong and the song is about window-cleaning.

When the band said: we want to develop our presence in social networks, and evolve, and we are going to close the ETF Official Forum, was the same as saying: "your opinions don't interest me". Facebook is something superficial, no one expects an interesting reflection there, just short phrases like: It's great! ... I'm there for EUROPE but I do not like. In any case, I don't like CENSORSHIP in general, so long as the comments are respectful I'm disagree with deleting them. The worst of it isn't that humanity miss a phrase for the future in a facebook wall, the worst is the feeling that makes the person who wrote it ..., I defend freedom of expression, even when what is written I don't like. The most interesting threads are when we have differents points of view, at least for me. One of my comments was censored on Blog Tour of EUROPE, comment very respectful and polite but spoke of the ancient forum and someone didn't like it ... and I felt ... is this rock ?? @ Firebox Video: I liked, but I would have liked it more if I had not seen the video of LLAE, I think is similar, ... best for me is JOEY TEMPEST, he is HUGE ... I love the energy that he conveys.

best for me is JOEY TEMPEST, he is HUGE ... I love the energy that he conveys. JT is the best because he is the only one you see in full throughout the whole video. The rest appear headless most of the time. Take JN for example. You can see his face in a still that is on his own and not with others for 1" at about 1:48 for the first time...

Hi Nikos, it's true what you say, but for me the amazing presence and good energy of JT in the video goes beyond the time in which he appears, I think he conveys very good things from the first frame, he is very large. JT: great musician but he is also an "animal of the media" has a great image on camera and that's what Patric from my point of view tries to take advantage. Sure the fans from this forum we would have liked to see more to the rest of the band but we are not the profile of people who perhaps is addressed it. About JN, maybe he doesn't want to have more protagonism in the video, I'm probably wrong, but I'm increasingly convinced that John is only interested in things like play guitar live and the process of creating songs ....

I have liked the new video of Firebox very much and I have loved to read all comments here. I concur with some on certain aspects, but I am not - generally speaking - very pretentious and I don't set high expectations that in any case would be personal... It's difficult to make everybody agree on something!
The blurred images make me nervous too sometimes, but they also create a desire of seeing full details of the pictures...desire can be better than reality and you can imagine what you want. Ok, this is a digress...
If really I have to make a point, it's about one fact that it has been highlighted on some FB posts as well by others, so apparently it's not only me... Joey looks in some shots very similar to Mick Jagger here, while I think that as far as his looks are concerned - he is so much better! I think they should have avoided those similarities because, at least to me, they are evident... I understand the "hard rock attitude" make the two of them look alike in certain expressions, but hey, Joey is Joey, no matter who Mick Jagger is!!!

I just realized that the supposed saga of the Firebox video (remember that "to be continued" at the end of the video?) didn't go on with the WOK video, obviusly because the song didn't fit the sci-fi theme. I wonder if in the album there's a song that suits the theme and that could be adapted for the part 2... That video wasn't bad, IMO. What do you think about that "saga"? Would anyone of you be happy if it was actually carried on?

I took the "to be continued" more as a message of the band's journey continuing, rather than a theme to be carried on in another video, but maybe I was wrong?

Yeah, it could well be...the journey goes on, sounds plausible . I took that for granted but, considering their "little" pause after PIP, you can never be too sure. Or maybe it was a reference to their intention to keep on shooting videos with Patrick. Just speculating here but, hey, I'm a Europe fan, speculating is my part-time job.
