Upplands Väsby will honor EUROPE with work of art!

Europe's hometown Upplands Väsby will celebrate its 70th Anniversary throughout this year!

The band received the municipality's honorary award in 2018 (read here: www.facebook.com/1082526535114504/photos/a.1610874505613035/2063771203656694).

Since then, the municipality has continued to work with the goal of honoring the band with a work of art situated in Blå Parken (read here: www.facebook.com/1082526535114504/photos/a.1084671274900030/3267001783333624).

The band will attend the unveiling of the artwork which is planned for Saturday 4th June!

- It is with great pleasure that we can announce that the members of Europe will come to Blå Parken to unveil a work of art in honor of the band on 4 June. It has been 40 years since the band won Rock-SM, so it fits perfectly with the municipality's tribute in connection with the band's anniversary year, says Roland Storm, chairman of the technology and real estate committee.

Four years ago, Europe received the municipality's honorary award. Since then, the municipality has worked to honor the band with a work of art in a central location in Väsby.

- The important thing is to point out that they will not perform but come here just to uncover the artwork.
