Thanks for taking the time to translate all this Stein. Awesome. Very interesting to read! Funny to hear how bandmembers think about their own music compared to the fans. I've always liked reading that kinda stuff. It's interesting! Also some pretty cool insider details. And PIP is Ian's nr1 album? Cool! Didn't see that one coming!

Thanks again Stein! And yes, I also disagree on most of their rankings but that doesn't matter at all. Wings will always be my favorite Europe album. I dare say no matter what. But it is so much fun and interesting reading what the opinion from two of the makers (of most albums) is.

Mic: "I can imagine that it was a dream come true for everybody, because it is one of the world's most legendary studios. The fact that it's still around is fantastic, because it was about to be shut down. But like I said, it's still there and furthermore they've kept a lot of old goods and tape recorders and everything. And we asked to have it brought up, or rather Dave Cobb asked to have every old thing from the 60s brought into the studio! So we recorded the vocals via Beatles' old mixing board. We recorded the guitars through Pink Floyd's old mixing board. It never stopped. Great story!

Thank you so much Stein for the great job and for allowing all the non-Swedish speaking fans to understand!!! I hate record companies!!!! So I'm happy that now the guys are in charge of every decision!!! "Prisoners in Paradise" already a great album but it could have been much better from what the guys have always said about its creation process! Many of the songs that didn't make it on the album sound amazing! The story went that way and probably it was meant to go that way since all the major 80's bands were swept away by the Seattle's wind... As for the first two positions I think the guys must feel proud of what they have achieved and dared! When Ian says "If Last Look at Eden was the album where we found our 'thing', War of Kings had the 'turn it loose' spirit" I totally agree with him and still today I consider LLAE their "thing"... When Mic says about the title track "Walk the earth" I think we dare to take out the turns a bit. Instead of taking it to the max when the chorus comes in a song, we'll bring it down." I remember having a conversation with a friend that told me "I expected the song to explode and instead it implodes!" And I went "Yeah! But that's the point! Don't you feel the more dramatic effect?!" So I was right about that! Europe are on a unexplored path and for an Artist that means still having so much to say!
