Does john norum normally go to them? I saw them back in 2016 and it was the most bittersweet moment in my life when i met europe but not him. I got VIP tickets again for the US tour(hopefully it doesnt get cancelled) just wanted to know if he normally goes to them

I've never been to a meet and greet myself, but from what I can tell (having seen other fans' pictures of their meet and greets), usually John Norum does not show up. I guess he's just shy.

John is extremely kind to everyone that meets him. If you see him, don't hesitate to say hi ! -but for some reason he very rarely participates in the meet'n'greets. Michaela Italy: You've been to a number of these. Have Norum ever been there? |

Have Norum ever been there? , you're right when you say that John is a very kind person to everyone approaching him to say hi! or also for autographs and photos. Just my opinion here, I certainly don't wanna give the impression that I know what he thinks about M&Gs, but it's the feeling that I have got. I suspect he doesn't like M&Gs because he feels like being a "monkey at the zoo", and furthermore he doesn't like that the fans have to pay to meet with him. He tries to avoid gathering of fans in any case, maybe he prefers when a few people, maybe only 2-3 people, bump into him and say hello. He can have a more direct understanding of who he is speaking to. If some fans are already known to him, then he stops to chat after the concerts and he can talk for hours! michaeljessen, you know it well, right?  Actually he took part to a very limited number of M&G events in the recent years when I attended. All in all, it's more likely that he skips rather than he joins. In the latest selling of M&G tickets, a warning has been there to advise that it was not guaranteed that all members would attend, but only some of them. It was mainly John Norum's case. Still, I have had the chance to take part to a couple of M&G with all members of the Band being present: at the Monsters of Rock Cruise in 2015 and in Japan last year. There can be a few others that I don't rembember right now, but not many or them.   |
