Interesting choice.... Correct me if i'm wrong, fellow Dutch people, but isn't this a small local festival with mainly Dutch artists?

That's partly true. It is a relatively small festival but it has some history with international artists like Meat Loaf, Joe Cocker, Status Quo and Megadeth to name a few. They always have a very diverse line up with (a lot of) Dutch artists thrown in indeed. I agree that it is an interesting but also a strange choice...

Although that was mainly in the 70's (Meat Loaf/Joe Cocker/Status Quo). Right now, all I see is a few coverbands and some Dutch party acts like Snollebollekes and Django Wagner Until now, Europe doesn't fit this bill at all if you ask me....

Unbelievable that they play there! Not just because of the type of festival but it's a VERY small village (if one at all?). And besides the people from that part of the Netherlands I don't think anyone has ever heard of this festival. Which is kinda cool I think. Just imagine Europe playing in your backyard!

Yep, the place doesn't even have train station. It will be kind of an adventure to get there ... But it's listed in Wikipedia with 245 inhabitants: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Veenhoop

Me too but drinking it or getting soaked in it is something else But we'll see. Maybe it's a decent and well behaving public that night
