And Ready or Not made a comeback, too!
Yes, there were lots of Leppard fans. Most people there had come for an 80s show. They didn't get that kind of show from Europe. While Def Leppard didn't really move on musically.

Most people there had come for an 80s show. They didn't get that kind of show from Europe. Looking at the setlist, EUROPE played eight songs from the 80s and four songs from the current era: Walk the Earth The Siege Rock the Night Scream of Anger Last Look at Eden Ready or Not War of Kings Carrie Dance the Night Away Superstitious Cherokee The Final Countdown www.setlist.fm/setlist/europe/2019/zitadelle-spandau-berlin-germany-13915141.htmlSo I would say they provided a decent amount of oldies but goldies to keep the 80s fans happy!

Yes, you are absolutely right setlist-wise, but they sound different. Unlike Leppard. You might just as well put a CD on. Nothing much has changed.
Just trying to give an explanation to kochie's observation that the crowd liked Leppard a lot more than Europe. The Leppard fans in front of me remained totally motionless during the entire Europe set just casting each other glances and wrinkling their noses.

Agree with you Steph, rarely seen such a dry and funless crowd... DL live indeed very soulless and mechanical, just like the record. And then John Diva and the Rocketts... A very bad Steelpanther 😂!
Anyway, great to see the vikings again, they were great! And DTNA is a killer live 🤘🏻🤩🤘🏻!

Thanks for the explanation.

Totally different bands music wise. Europe is much more organic, classic hardrock. Leppard is much more poprock/metal. But they both put on an amazing live show. And yeah, Leppard is a bigger name worldwide. Although Europe has a song that is bigger than all hardrock and metal bands together I think.
