Very interesting kuhnibert, ... I have to listen carefully to your proposals. And I think it's great that your parents gave you rock albums at such an early age ... woow, it's fantastic. And yes! The thread tells us about the albums "of our lives" that is to say those that have meant something special for some reason such as the wonderful memory of sharing a concert with your father. That's why my vote has been for THE FINAL COUNTDOWN, it has definitely been one of the albums of my life, but not the best for me from EUROPE, because in that case I would have a battle between some more albums Thx. Tomorrow i will post my last both selections.

Wow kuhnibert ! King Diamond ! I love him and have a special preference for The Eye because of the story the songs are telling. ^^

Here is my fourth choice: SAVATAGE - STREETS (A ROCK OPERA) - 1991 1. STREETS 2. JESUS SAVES 3. TONIGHT HE GRINS AGAIN / STRANGE REALITY 4. A LITTLE TOO FAR 5. YOU'RE ALIVE / SAMMY AND TEX 6. ST. PATRICK'S 7. CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW 8. NEW YORK CITY DON'T MEAN NOTHING 9. GHOST IN THE RUINS 10. IF I GO AWAY 11. SOMEWHERE IN TIME / BELIEVE The following both CD's were showed to me from a former friend of my parents, who was a real oldschool metalhead. First there was this one, Savatage, a real cool band, which i love to listen to till today. The whole music is great, every album has its own stile and i don't like, that they don't exist anymore^^.

And the last one: SEPULTURA - ARISE - 1991 1. ARISE 2. DEAD EMBRYONIC CELLS 3. DESPERATE CRY 4. MURDER 5. SUBTRACTION 6. ALTERED STATE 7. UNDER SIEGE 8. MEANINGLESS MOVEMENTS 9. INFECTED VOICE The last one, Sepultura - Arise, i found by myself, when i started buying and listening in stores to CD's only by cover artwork This one had a great coverartwork, so i listened to it and bought it right then. It marked my life in that way, that Sepultura was the first concert with real hard music for me. The oldscool metalmaniac, i mentioned in my fourth choice (calles Jörg) was the one, who came with me to that concert. Because i was only 15 at that point, i was not allowed to go alone. What should i say, great CD, if not the best Sepultura album, i think it is...

Sepultura was one of my sister's fave band when we were teenagers ^^ As for the other bands you mentioned Kuhnibert, I listen to them too, but are not in my top 5 albums Thanks for choosing me To begin, I won't be quite original I think because my 1st album which has an impact on me was The Final Countdown ^^ I remember the first time I saw the video at 10 yo. It was on the TOP 50 program and it was as if I got a slap on my face with amaze TFC was the first 12 LP I bought and got me into listening to music too. I won't put any pictures, nor any title as far as we all know this album ^^ I'll just put maybe my fave song of the album which make me feel its power in my belly when I hear it. The rest will follow later ^^

Standing on The Shoulders Of Giants by OASIS is my second choice.
01 - Fuckin' in the Bushes 02 - Go Let It Out 03 - Who Feels Love? 04 - Put Your Money Where Yer Mouth Is 05 - Little James 06 - Gas Panic! 07 - Where Did It All Go Wrong? 08 - Sunday Morning Call 09 - I Can See A Liar 10 - Roll It Over This band is a turning point in my taste in music which had different phases : variety, pop, boys bands (teenage years does strange things) , rock, new wave.... a little bit of everything actually. I've chosen that album because of its melodic sounds and I think it's the one I've listened to the most from Oasis ^^ The first song contains extracts from people who attended the Isle Of Wight Festival in 1971 and I've had loved to be part of it. The band used other instruments than classic guitars that gives some interesting sounds. Who Feels Love ? has Hindu background sound and it's sooooo zen. I find Liam Gallagher's voice special.
I still like what the Gallaghers brothers do separately, but i don't listen to their music now. The "magic" isn't there anymore.

Eva, lo siento por el retraso ! it's been a hectic month in my restaurant, but here I am. As it is quite hard to pick only one album by our beloved guys, I will leave them out of my choice, as each of them has a particular meaning to me and it is linked to a certain moment of my life. The first one I pick is 'Parklife' by Blur. . I discovered this band while I was at uni in London. The title track was the opening song of the 'Rocket', the students' night at a local pub. Great fun, lots and lots of drinks and one of the best experiences I've ever had.
