I would like to express my huge appreciation to all fans who have contributed to this Forum with old or new materials and provided translations throughout the years.
I know from experience that fewer and fewer Swedish speaking fans would agree to do full translations of interviews and articles, although the interest is still there. Thankfully, there is Google Translate for digital texts which works fine. But regarding big articles and interviews like the one in the recent Sweden Rock Magazine issue, there is only the good will of such fans to rely on.
With this in mind, I would like to ask ALL fans what they think about personally contributing with copying (typing) smaller parts of the text, in a united effort to put the information out for everyone interested in a full translation.
Of course, there is the question of the copyright and if we should spread scanned copies of the photos. I will leave this to your consideration. Now we are only talking about the valued information in the non-digital texts!
Let us know what you think and if you are interested in contributing in some way.
Greetings, Clair

20 hours later... Let me give you an example of how this works: 1. We will need at least 12 enthusiasts for typing the excerpts and sending the texts back to one person to put together and translate for all. 2. Each of these 12 people gets a picture with the excerpt to type in Swedish, using a nice auxiliary keyboard for the special letters: gate2home.com/Swedish-Keyboard3. The picture below shows the end of the SRM material (only 30 lines out of over 750) and it is only a small part of the whole, so some of you might volunteer to take on two or three times more, if they find it easy enough. 4. Try this bit and see how much time it would take 1 person to type the whole article/interview, by multiplying your result by 25! 5. You will need to send me a personal message with your e-mail address or link to your facebook profile, to receive and send back the texts. Well, I have tried. It's all up to you now. Attachments:

Hi Clair If you provide a good quality scan of photo taken with a cellphone that has a sharp focus on letters detail and with a good white background (normal 300 dpi scan is better) maybe we could use the OCR feature of scanners to save as PDF searchable then the text hopefully would be all available to copy and past on a word or txt document for translation

I thought about this too, but I can't provide a scan, just photos taken with my phone. I think the sample I posted is the best quality I can give you. Maybe someone else will be able to scan the whole thing page by page, but I somehow doubt that.

This is a great idea, and I would definitely contribute! I don't have time to do full texts, since I am a student. But I would definitely do 30 lines and then send And it would give me a reminder to visit this space more often

I hope that someone would give us a full scan and save us the trouble, but in case this doesn't happen, I've got your coordinates on fb. Now, 11 more enthusiasts are WANTED!
