BREAKING NEWS: Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of KEE OF HEARTS, a new band project built around two true melodic rock superstars: Tommy Heart, singer of Fair Warning and Kee Marcello, former Europe guitarist!
With a line-up rounded out by Ken Sandin (ex-ALIEN) on bass and Italian drummer Marco Di Salvia (PINO SCOTTO - OFFICIAL), the guys started working on the album in late 2016. With their songwriting strongly focused on melodic rock songs, the album came to completion under the direction of producer Alessandro Del Vecchio and covers a wide spectrum of styles with a lot of attention given to crafting great hooks delivered by musicians that know how to deliver the goods!
Musically, the band operates in a territory defined by Scandinavian AOR meeting German melodic hard rock with influences from the classic U.S. AOR giants (think Giant, Journey, etc.).
All in all, an unmissable release and a highlight of the melodic rock scene! The album is planned for release in the late summer.

Good song! More in the old Europe style which I like and prefer. Great singing (as I expected) and nice guitar work from Kee. It's nice to finally see Kee collaborate with a decent singer. Now let's hope they'll do a tour!

I don't like it from what I've heard so far. Too generic songs in every aspect, although the solos are fine and Kee-recognizable. The production is mediocre and it sounds like any other hard rock band that is just coming out nowadays. I don't wanna guess anything, but I think this is why Europe didn't reunite with Kee; probably he was pushing for this direction and play it safe and didn't wanna explore new territories. Europe are getting better and bolder sound-wise and are past the 'return-to-fame' 80s melodic hooks (which sound quite odd in these modern times), but, of course, taste differs from person to person

There's nothing distinct about this project. It's another Frontiers project where they marry up some named musicians, the same guys write the songs, and the guys play the songs. It also annoys me how Kee always seems to overact in music videos...haha.
