Since the Wings over Sweden tour they changed some bits and pieces. The drum intro for example is gone and they also slowed it down a fraction. But it could've been worse (Cherokee anyone?!?) so I'm not complaining. So although I also prefer the way they played it in 2014 I'm just happy it showed up again in Argentina! At first I thought....is Ian screwing up by setting the tempo too low? Or is it on purpose? I think on purpose, otherwise Joey or the other guys would have signed Ian to speed it up I guess But yeah I like it! Gives a totally different groove and feel to the song. The album version is the fastest, 2014 comes close, but this is also cool.

Maybe a bit slower but I take it over, for example, Sign of the Times anytime! Hope this songs stays and maybe they can add On the Loose... 😬

Hi Everyone! I want to share with you my experience of the concert in Buenos Aires. And what an experience!!! Unbelievable!! Awesome!! Sooooo great!! Really I have no words… I travelled from Uruguay and arrived in Buenos Aires just a few hours before the concert. Before going to my hotel I passed by the hotel where the band was staying, wishing to be lucky enough to meet one of the Europe boys. I was standing there, waiting for my husband too, when I recognised Michaela inside a restaurant in front of the hotel!!! I couldn’t believe she made it to Buenos Aires!!Cool!! I came in to say hi. It was soooo nice to meet her in person!! She was very kind. We talked for a while and then we leave to our hotels. Two hours before the show my husband and me met with two friends in the queue. So many people there!!! So much excitement and happiness in the air!!! Our seats were in the first floor. Too far from the stage but with a great view!. Before Europe, there was a support band that played only instrumental. They were good! A few minutes after 21hs the magic started with “War of kings”... You know the setlist so… what can I say!!?? It was just perfect!! The sound and the lights were great, Joey’s voice was impeccable, all the band was so powerfull!!! (My nervous moment was when Joey dropped the microphone… fortunately it didn’t seem to bother him much). The audience was loud and very happy. Maybe a little “still” because of the fixed seats. At least the ones in the ground floor could stand up and jump. In the first and second floors we couldn’t. As always, the concert was too short!! When TFC started it was kind of an epic but sad moment cause you know it’s the end… I didn’t want to leave!! Haha. After the concert, many fans went to the hotel to wait for the band (I met Michaela again!). Maybe after an hour and a half, they appeared in a van. Joey wasn’t there. Mic ran away into the hotel, John L. and John N. stayed just a few minutes. The great Ian stayed signing autographs and posing for photos with every one of us!!! He was so very kind, always with smile and chatting. Then he asked “do you all have your photos and autographs?” we answered yes! and applauded him very loud and he left. I love him!!! Next day I went to the hotel cause Ian told me they would leave at noon aprox. And they did! So I could meet both Johns and Mic. I took pictures with them and thanked for the show. Unfortunately I couldn’t meet Joey (but someone from the van (windows were black), threw a guitar pick with joey´s name on it and I got it!!! Haha) So… that’s it!!! Another wonderful moment to hold in my heart and mind!! Sorry if my story was too long but I wanted to share with the ones I know that care about it!! Till next time!
