Wow, Thanks for this info ! Carcassonne is a fantastic place indeed. Not far from my home actually, in the south of France. The only problem is that it can be sooo hot in July : not sure I can resist if it's 40° !  |

A wonderful concert, as always (at every EUROPE's show I'm a bit surprised to see how good this band is and stays..  ) This time, Mic Michaeli was the man of the day IMO : amazing intros/improvisations/performances, full of soul and beauty ! He was "inhabitaded" by a kind of gracefulness. And it began at the soundcheck obviously : I could hear it from a far place (unfortunately), but from the first notes it was magic. He played a little piece of classical music, Grieg's peer gynt.  Bravo to all the band for a perfect show : Joey's radiance with his voice and dances, Leven's perfect bass, Ian's energy, Norum's virtuosity. Highlight of the night : probably "Firebox", in a new and richer version that explores and underlines all the epic potential of this song. Great, great, great ! |
