Nice little interview with Mic talking about his gear: Interesting the fact Mic says the sampled 'TFC' sound, likely referring to the lead synth sound. Perhaps maybe some of it but when I play it using the JX8P and some other layered synths like what he has said was used in the past on the original, I come up with a way more different and 'authentic' duplication of the lead sound than the sampled version Europe currently uses. As for the chime pad, Mic told me it was likely a PPG wave which is likely correct, live, it certainly sounds like they've either found a similar patch or sampled a PPG. |
