english.rockfestbarcelona.com/europe-new-confirmation-for-rock-fest-barcelona/EUROPE: NEW CONFIRMATION FOR ROCK FEST BARCELONA Europe go hand in hand with quality hard rock, with a taste of the past and also the present. The swedish band has crafted some of the biggest hits of rock music, as it’s the case with the anthem “The Final Countdown” or “Prisoners in Paradise”, “Carrie” and “Rock the Night”. So, the band will be back in Rock Fest Barcelona 2017 at Parc de Can Zam in Santa Coloma de Gramenet. A great addition to a billing that already has bands such as Aerosmith, Running Wild, Avantasia, Sodom, Abbath, WASP, Gloryhammer and a lot more.

Great pics, thanks! Nice to see The Beast again in the setlist. By the way, is that guy Pontus Norgren from Hammerfall?

Overall it looks and sounds like a good gig, but not Joey's best Final Countdown performance... He's way too low on the first few lines. His voice sounds a bit tired on this festival tour. Noticed it earlier as well, I think the Graspop gig.

He had it down really nicely back in the LLAE days and on from there but it just seems more shouty these days rather than singing like he used to do.

Well, I wouldn't say that it "sucked"....but for his standards, yes it wasn't good. But again, not all Final Countdown's were bad on this tour. Only a few, like this one. Copenhell was good and Sommarland also. Check out the videos. The anniversary tour ofcourse was great as well....which is also still pretty recent. But we've seen these things before right? A short phase where the band isn't at it's best or where Joey sounded tired. Nothing wrong with that I think when you are over 50. I think it will be fine...like it always does. How many times did he sing TFC in his life, like ten thousand? It cant be all good you know. Maybe they enjoyed a nice vacation before the tour started? Cause Norum looks like he gained 10 kilo's....Joey sounds a bit tired. I think they just need to get back in shape or something
