YES, a meet & greet on the countdown tour would be AMAZING. Im not sure if I could handle it! When the dream becomes reality is when you get overwhelmed! Fingers crossed they release some details I hope so and I'll be glad for you xxxx  , do you come from New Zealand to see them in this Tour, right? You would love to live one M&G, they are really close and friendly with fans, ... all of them without exception  Let's see !!!! Please EUROPE ! M & G for the Tour 30 Anniversary of TFC !!!!! I remember seeing a vid Joey did promoting the Lausanne gig (that I am also going to) when he was at the Powerplay Studios recently and he mentioned they want to 'meet the fans' so whether you can interpret that as a possible meet and greet or just a comment about seeing everyone at the gig who knows but still...yes a fan since 86/87 in New Zealand... a Europe concert or just the possibility of meeting my musical heroes seems like another universe away....but come November, Paris, Lausanne and Milan will see me there! To have a photo with Joey who I idolised as a kid, wearing my own countdown jacket I made and my own white mic stand, will honestly be a dream come true, I so hope I can meet him without turning into a complete mess! |

Wow, great to hear that... I honestly hope that it will realize to you, some way or another...
To me it was more of pure chance, walking in the street at the right moment, encouraging myself to step forward and ask for a photo (Norum). Preparing myself to quickly vanish (not to bother them too much), I was overwhelmed by friendly invitation to join. My hasty chat got longer that I could ever imagine... there were other fans, too, but we were quite small group.
Maybe little town helped out a little bit...Maybe this would not happen by chance in London (November), although we hugged with Mic, Leven, Norum and (later Ian) and wished "See you in London" - ha-ha!
But I wish this same strange event could come to your way, too!

Can't find the dates and venues for the TFC Annicersary tour. Nothing on Europe's site and fb, nothing on Norum fb, too !  Please where can we find these dates ? |

Hi guesswho?, as far as I know, Europe has had to stop publishing their events on their FB page because due to an issue with FB itself some other events from other artists would show up, just because containing "Europe" in the advertising or something like that. Usually Official John Norum page on FB is updated, but not now yet about those TFC dates in November. I think there will be soon an update also there by WM John Norum. Meanwhile, other fan pages not run by the Band are publishing those events too... I really wonder what's wrong with FB that apparently let all the not entitled people do what they want (fake pages included...) while it is preventing the official page to get regular updates in a proper form... Oh well...  |

Last week the facebook page of the band modified photos of some events, in that change there was a problem with the dates of the concerts 30th anniversary THE FINAL COUNTDOWN in Spain, the problem is basically that they are wrong.
Barcelona concert appears on November 21 and Madrid on November 22.
But the sign makes clear:
 The worst thing is that people started asking the question of the date on facebook, many of them in Spanish, did not know if it was an error or change or had happened. I reported of this issue to some contacts of the band, and in any case the level of kindness of the answer was not like I used in my message so I think the best is stop even when in my computer and mobile the dates still appears wrong. May be a technical problem mine and that it has not been updated, so appreciate if someone can check it on Facebook and see if the dates still appear wrong or are already corrected. I will not do anything, but I am very sorry that people are interested to know the exact date that publicly ask and no answer from the band. Stein please, could you check it ? thx  (when you can) |
