It might be just that their website is down. I couldn't access the old forum or the the official website (www.europethband.com).

I can't access their official website as well since yesterday... so maybe they are experiencing a general issue with the website.

From Europe's facebook page:
My guess is once it's up and running, we'll be able to access everything again.

A year ago the closure of the Official Forum ... The band said: " ... It will still be our official home on the web where we will continue to reach out and bring you closer to our inner circle. We will also be focusing on our growing networks on social media sites such as facebook and twitter and sharing news, videos through those pages, as well as via our tour blog ... " Really only facebook is an active place, everything else is pretty dead . Very difficult sometimes to recognize where is "the inner circle". For me, the best place to support this band is this forum, and belongs to a fan ... So, thanks Stein.

Well, I am very thankful for this site and forum as well. It's a different way to express ourselves compared to FB and similar, where honestly I continue to struggle everyday to condense in less than 10 lines (I still am the verbose one, you know!) some decent and meaningful comment! I respect the band's decision, it makes a lot of sense under many aspects. But also the atmosphere here is so lovely - like being at home, in a way - that everyday this is the first place I log in! The band is still with us, I do firmly believe - and probably the "inner circle" is just a state of mind...and if you think of what Europetheband gave you across the years, that's what is really important in the end! PS: I'd take some distance from presenting the band as a God or some sort of saints though...just human beings making exceptional music and cheering up lots of people along their way!!!

Tomorrow, such a day two years ago, ... Anyway
The band decided to close its Official Forum. Overall it was a place much similar to this, it's true that there was some rise conversation tone on the eternal battle between EUROPE's fans about John or Kee, ... probably this was the reason of the closure I 'm not sure. It was sad and disappointing at least for some of us. I wish I knew the reason, I didn't understand, but it was closed without explanation.
The Best: definitely "the closure thread" www.europetheband.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=20132 there was wonderful comments, it was a wailing wall of fans of this band together and fighting for don't close that place, we try with our words to get something really difficult. And the unforgettable day of the "Party anti-Closure of the Forum", www.europetheband.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=20159&hilit=party where users wanted to attract the attention of the band. We met one day at a specific time and we all were connected to the forum at the same time, we needed to be many for to be more stronger. It was great. Actually we were not millions or thousands people but it was really exciting, our Master of Ceremonies was our friend ent, ... Do you remember "The Battle of the songs: Ready or not" last year? Ok he did also an amazing work here, you can imagine that was a heartwarming moment in which we try to fight for something impossible but definitely was worth it.

I was very sad with the closure of Official Forum of the band (Today 4 years ago ), at that time I thought the fans we met there to talk about our favorite band we would have no place where to do it. The band redirected us Facebook place that has nothing to do with the atmosphere of a forum. But we were not orphans, Stein opened this forum and it has achieved a consolidated site after 4 years where we have all managed to create a place of real support to the band, here we talk only about music and concerts of EUROPE, nothing about personal lives of anyone, and no more war between John and Kee. Long live to this forum, and long live to EUROPE, So thank you so much again to Stein for this place
