Other than their communication regarding the Friday Nights w/Europe (the album thing is getting old w/me) there hasn't been much about anything else that I have seen. I figured with all this down time, they might be working on the follow up to Walk the Earth, but no real mention of anything forthcoming. Anyone hear anything else that may not be mainstream so to speak?

On what appears to be one of Kee's two legitimate Facebook pages, the link from above is shared... There seem to be some folks with issues regarding the band potentially recording a song that was written for them...Look Away... Not sure if it is really Kee who responds with the a few comments, but I mean.... For a guy who frankly is only really known worldwide today because of his time in Europe, he sure never has anything good to say about JT, and talks a lot of smack every time he can. I completely understand that he may not be best friends with some of the guys, and of course we know about the friendship and connection JT has with JN, but c'mon dude, show some class... Comments made by Kee cut/pasted from the facebook page below...
Kee Marcello Since a lot of you (Roberto del Olmo discluded, he seems to know the facts), don’t seem to understand that recording a song written ‘for you’, is not a ‘cover’. It’s in fact an ORIGINAL. Now, when Kiss recorded “God Gave Rock And Roll To You”, that was a cover. It was originally an Argent song that they decided to cover. This is a case of Dianne Warren (google) wrote a song Especially for us, that some c**t in the band refuted.[/font]

Have to admit, that I enjoy the Friday's with Europe thing, but this second round of albums isn't all that exciting. I definitely don't look forward to it like I did the performances.

Cool, thanks Stein... Kee's book hasn't come out in English I don't think, so I haven't had a chance to read it yet.

Stein... If this isn't the right spot, feel free to move to the correct section.
Many of us have heard that Rod Stewart wanted to record Coast to Coast but that Joey and/or the band declined to let the song go. I just saw a recent interview online that Kee did with someone around Christmas and he actually stated that is was Homeland, not Coast to Coast. I'm wondering if Kee got the songs mixed up or if it's been an Urban Legend all these years and we thought it was the wrong song?

I don't see them doing any redos of pre-released tracks or JT solo stuff. I'd like something a bit more uplifting, not necessarily an 80's/90's sounding album because we know they won't do that, but something a little more bombastic. I think with different producers, you get something new and fresh each time. WoK/WTE w/Dave Cobb... good albums, but at least from me WTE fell off fast....but I think we'll get something in the same vein as those, and unless they just knock it out of the park I fear I'd be a bit indifferent to it. I respect the nod to their influences like UFO, Lizzy, and Deep Purple, but sometimes recently some tracks have sounded more like knock-offs of those bands more so than Europe being Europe, with those influences

I agree, I'd like a bit more of a feel good album that doesn't sound quite as dark. Rumor is they want to use Dave Cobb again, and I guess that's okay, but I think we are going to get another WOK/WTE type album whenever it happens.

Me too... It's so rare to Europe gets over here, to have it fall through because of the COVID-19 situation would really be a kick to nuts! Well i’m in the stage of moving from Sweden over to the U.S. so i’m hoping they will go through with the tour. Welcome to the US!
