Any chart success for the band is great, but to be honest it doesn't bother me all that much. I think they deserve it, but mostly I just feel proud that my favourite band, who were at their commercial peak around 25 years ago, are still one of the greatest bands on the planet.

Both Excellent albums, but BOB is the stronger one for me, for reasons i have said before:
1). There are no fillers whereas on LLAE i think there were one or 2 that I didn't particularly like (U Devil U, and Mojito Girl). 2). The production and mastering to my ears sounds far superior to LLAE 3). The songs themselves are equally good if not better, and have more complex arrangements in places. 4). I think you can hear all the individual instruments better on BOB. 5). i think JT's voice has matured and improved even since LLAE

That's a real shame, it would have been great for them

It is a sad fact, and probably something that the band would not have intended - but I have realised that since the official forum was discontinued I have hardly visited the official Europe web-site. The forum was the main reason for me going there. Now I hardly visit the site at all, but come here instead.

I think there are lots of things that are great about this album. And actually lots of parallels with the older Europe. Great backing vocals and harmonies like the 80's, lots more Hammond organ, fantastic riffs. The production is, I think possibly the best they have ever had. All the tracks on this album are fantastic and in my opinion there is not a single filler track on this album (as there were on LLAE). For me personally there is nothing negative at all to be said about this album.

does anyone else absolutely LOVE this song? ;p i just can't get enough of it. how this did not make it to the actual release is beyond me. i smell next 'yesterday's news' (for those unaware it's a bonus track from japan version of BoB -> I like it alot, but it isn't my favourite. Don't understand why it wasn't included on the European release too. If it fits onto a CD in Japan, surely it will also fit onto a European CD

andy74: I don't think Amazon sells the signed copies. These were available only through the Scandinavian outlets, such as Begans. Yes, that was my understanding too. The ONLY way to get a signed copy was to pre-order it from a Scandinavian outlet.

I think 'Doghouse' has very much a 'live' feel to it, but maybe that's just because we have heard it played live already
