I ordered mine from Amazon UK and it arrived on Saturday. I am very impressed with the sound on this dvd/CD after the flat sounding live releases mentioned by others.
One thing that slightly bugged me though is that they patched/added in vocals on Love Chaser right after the solo. When I was at the show in London, Joey missed the immediate lyrics as he was on the wrong side of the stage yet on the cd and dvd it's perfect. I know it's nothing major but it just feels they tampered with the recording.
Apart from that I am loving the final countdown album performance on this! Loving Mic's synth sounds!

This is the first time that I've ever been critical of Europe but why oh why play the whole of War of kings? I took 4 friends to London with me that have never seen Europe live and they all lost interest during the album. I went to the toilet just after days of rock n roll and the guys in there weren't happy about not hearing songs from other albums and I did get the feeling that Europe got it wrong. The final countdown album was fantastic and loved hearing it live. But for me I felt they shouldnt have played the whole of war of kings.

Just stumbled across this. I've never seen the music score of the earlier songs before, I would love to see the transcription for Seven Doors Hotel. I've seen Japanese books of The Final Countdown and Out Of This World with vocal, guitar, keyboard, bass and drum. I'll have to keep a look out for this one. I expect I have the same Prisoners in Paradise book that ent mentions and I also have a non-Japanese version of Out Of This World but the transcription is not as good. Reading this just made me have a flashback of finding the guitar scorebook for John Norums total control album in a music store in Cardiff about 15 years ago. I'm sure I bought. I need to dig through some boxes to see if I still have it. I remember it being an A4 size book with the same cover as the album cover.

My personal hope is they will choose the same producer but work on a sample in the effect of wings of tomorrow. Double bass, galloping riffs and synths. In this day and age they would sound epic!

This is a recent interview with Kee Marcello but he seems like he's had a few too many beers! See for yourself.

I have been looking everywhere to find this concert online and I can't find it anywhere!
I used to have itnon CD but I've moved house many times now and I think it's gone.
Would someone be kind enough to upload the high quality version up online as I would really love to hear it again.
Many thanks! Lee

Hey everyone, I'm shamelessly plugging myself here! I host a rock show on a new radio station for Cardiff called Central radio. At this moment in time its available online at www.centralwales.co.uk and its also available on the "tune in radio" app for android and iphone. The rock show is on every friday from 8-9pm and tonight i will be playing music from bands such as Europe, Thunder, Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen and Thin Lizzy to name a few. Be great if you tuned in

Hey I'm Lee and i have kept the same name as on the old forum. Im 24 and I am born and raised in Cardiff, Wales. Im currently working in nursing as well as hosting a radio rock show every Friday night on centralwales.co.uk (tomorrow will feature 3 new Europe songs!) I am also a musician in my spare time, no guesses where my influences have come from. I have been listening to Europe since 1992 when my uncle gave me my first album, The Final Countdown. See you in Cardiff in November!!!
