Hi all, just found on YouTube all the isolated vocal tracks, drums, instrumentals and and guitar backing tracks to the final countdown album. It's really interesting to hear the songs broken down and also to have the originals as karaoke and guitar practice tracks. Check it out in this channel! www.youtube.com/channel/UCD5EDurlirlyHzBn1jvYM0g

John norum has been working on this solo album for the last 3 years. He has had the guest singers like Åge Sten Nilsen amongst others.
With this pandemic going on, surely this is the best time to finally get it finished and just release it!
I'm dying to hear it!

Each to their Own. None of my friends like Europe, but I do and that's all that matters.

How do you know this is from Tokyo?? -is there more from this show available??? It's really great !! The whole Face It Live 97 is also on video... but only Norum has the tapes... Here is the same video but with John talking at the start. I assume it was filmed in Japan from this.

No one managed to get the balcony I was sitting on in their videos then. I think I can safely say that it was the best concert I've seen so far. But then it's Europe, so how could it not be? I did take some photos, but they didn't come out very well, but I can post some of the better ones if anyone's interested. I'm from Cardiff and I've seen bands at St David's hall before. It is a very hit or miss venue for sound but Europe got it spot on that night. They sounded incredible and the lighting was phenomenal! Glad people are still remembering this show. It was a very relaxed show too with Joey interacting with the audience in-between songs. Did anyone else catch the support act King King? I thought they were great too, and I got to meet their frontman Alan Nimmo afterwards, which was pretty cool.

How is it with Kee Marcello that recorded Wild Child and Don’t know how to love no more on his album Scaling up? That's a good question. I spoke with Kee last October and we spoke about the song Rainbow Warrior which he said he would love to record on his next album.
