Hello "demon heads"
our dear Captain, our Master of Ceremonies has licensed me after that I could to use "the multi quotes" and he has enabled me today to give the results of this wonderful Group G which contains amazing songs. OMG! What a great Group ...! From the beginning the 4 songs that have had the most votes belong to the two stages. Our winning the first battle the precious and delicate "No Stone Unturned" remains very dear. I think it will go far. "Stormwind" ... another gem of "Wings of Tomorrow" that follows and on a high note. And very voted "Heart of Stone", we'll see what occurs next year with the anniversary of "The Final Countdown". And well, I'm not sure but I think that is the first time that one song hasn't any vote, and paradoxically, it is the song that gives title to our battle, "Only Young twice"
No stone unturned 16 Heart of Stone 16 Stormwind 15 Start from the dark 14 War of kings 12 More than meets the eye 11 Human after all 10 Coast to coast 10 Doghouse 8 Angels (with broken hearts) 7 Talk to me 7 Sweet love child 4 Boyazont 3 Where men won't dare 1 Only young twice 0
And the next group? Okay, have you taken a look? It is a killer group, is the latest in this phase, but the battle continues ... and more surprises! Really very scary, fate would have it in "time halloween" we have to decide between songs like "Devil Sings the Blues"; "U Devil U" and "Demon head" ... Which will be the victor? The result is in our hands.
GROUP H
Words of wisdom Aphasia Dance the night away Love chaser Ready or not Break free Seventh sing America Got to have faith Devil sings the blues U devil In my time Demon head Vasastan

I'm afraid, Eva, that Angels With Broken Wings, in my opinion, recalls too much In My Time and you can't compare both songs. In My Time is a damned masterpiece and Angels is, for me, as we spanish say, the poor cousin.
Yeah gemaim, a bit "primo pobre sí que es " ... hehe ... I also believe In my time is at a higher level to Angels, but is that In my time is very large song, probably the best EUROPE's ballad, is a wonderful song, beyond personal meaning for a member of the band, I think it's almost perfect, the lyrics, the Norum guitar sounding better than ever. To me IMT has the ability to thrill you from start to finish, but ANGELS gets you something later.
On the other hand, I think I have heard in the video STORMWIND our voices singing with Joey ? Yes ? Do you remember ? We were there !! It was a great concert!! Pity that Madrid is not on this tour, I can't understand

Less than 12 hours to closing the vote ... there's still time
Is there any fan of ANGELS (WITH BROKEN HEARTS) over here who has not yet voted ? OK, this is your time, it is unclear that the song will get pass this phase and needs your help ...
What is sure is the wonderful STORMWIND goes directly to the next phase, this song raises passions !! Perfect moment for listen to it one again, Right? I guess so, it was in Madrid last year, enjoy it!
Happy Friday for everyone!!

That would be interesting, but Joey has said in several interviews after the reunion that they want to work with a new producer for each album, to keep things fresh. They've never done two albums in a row with the same producer... But maybe that tradition will be broken with Dave Cobb? EDIT: I may have misunderstood the interview. Maybe Dave didn't mean that he will do the next Europe album, maybe he meant that he will work with Europe on the album after that... or maybe the album after that. Time will show. Yes, you're right, I think the same, there is an unwritten law about the band makes each album with a different producer, I also have read it. I was surprised for the comment of Dave, but perhaps has not wanted to say that ... my understanding of English is very bad, I trust your interpretations. I thought that if so and are planning to do another album together maybe in the creation of War of Kings they did more songs or maybe there was good chemistry between them and think can get it again to create new songs. In the War of Kings video with images of the studio we can see the good vibe and Norum in a recent interview speaks very well of Dave. I don't know ... let's see !

I leave a link to an interview (very recent) with Dave Cobb ... the part that speaks of EUROPE is very interesting because it talks about a new album with them, Let's see .. I'd like much, War of Kings is fabulous.

A good place to ask this question: Do you play with Europe? As in “The Final Countdown” Europe?
Dave: No, I don’t play with them. I produced their last album. I don’t play in the band Europe, no. [Laughs]
I was a little confused by that one.
Dave: Every once in awhile, I’ll jump on stage and play with them. When I was a kid, I used to play along with that stuff. Everybody did in the '80s.
The way that happened was, I produced this band called Rival Sons -- they’re more of a traditional rock band. They do really well overseas, and the guys from Europe heard the record and called me about a year-and-a-half ago, asking me about working together. They called me thinking I’d be too cool to work with them, but I was really excited about it. I went over to Stockholm and we made a record that was awesome. It sounds like Black Sabbath or something. It was a lot of fun. We’re going to make another record again. They’re really good guys.

There are several interviews with Ian in this section, but is a good idea as there is already open a post dedicated to "all interviews of John Leven" do the same with other members of the band,
I leave a link to an interview published recently to Ian it was last October 18. It is very cool. I love his vision of The Final Countdown
www.curt.de/muenchen/gespraech-europe/
Next year, the world celebrates 30 years of "The Final Countdown". Is this song curse or a blessing for you?
Ian: " ... It is what you make of it. I have decided to see the song as a blessing for Europe. The song and the album among the most successful numbers from the 80s. We had the opportunity to continue the comeback and our journey in the new millennium. Playing "Countdown" is still fantastic. The audience rotates through every time and it's as if you get an adrenaline rush ... "
