Ernie Ball and guesswho?, I was so starstruck when I met them that all I managed to say was, "Could I please have a picture with you?" and "Thank you!" Another memorable moment occured on October 30. I had managed to buy a VIP ticket from another fan, so I was able to attend the soundcheck. Joey walked up to me, smiled and shook my hand! He also said something to me, but again, I was so startstruck that I didn't catch what he was saying. He probably said, "Hi!" Haha well yeah I can understand that Too bad! Would've been cool to know. But great that you could attend the soundcheck! That's really awesome. Always wanted to do something like that. It's very intimate and personal. Must have been really special!

Went to the show, ofcourse I have to say...this was probably the most special and best one I ever saw from them. The setlist was absolutely brilliant!! For once I tried to ignore and avoid all information about the show and the setlist. I only knew they opened with On Broken Wings. Saw that while scrolling through Facebook or something . But for the rest I didn't visit this forum or anything. So I managed to go in blanco, as we say. And glad I did! Because wow...one surprise after the other! It was amazing. Opening with On Broken Wings? Such a bold move. Loved it. Straight into Seven Doors Hotel, holy sh#t! Those two already a highlight for me and the show had only just begun. Hold Your Head Up sounds a lot better live. Wasn't really impressed with the song at first, but it came to life now. Dreamer with just the piano was amazing. Also super cool to hear songs again like Start From The Dark, Always the Pretenders and More Than Meets The Eye. Really enjoyed those. Stormwind and Memories: also highlights for me. The only thing I didn't like was the 20 minute break in between the sets. It really takes away the speed, groove and momentum of the show. I heard people around me that thought the same. Ah well, went to buy a t-shirt in the meantime . Made a video also:

His what? Is this something with... underpants? At Sweden Rock Festival 2013, Norum fell/slipped on stage during The Final Countdown. On the DVD release, there's an interview with the band where Norum is asked "Did you slip" He replied something like "Yes, I slipped in my own sweat, it was slippery when sweat......" (referring to Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet) And he slipped again here at Gröna Lund Oooh oke haha, I see it now yeah! Always sucks when that happens But I didn't know that Sweden Rock thing actually....that's why I didn't understand your reference.
