www.facebook.com/europetheband/photos/a.10150602825824210/10157457677384210/?type=3&theaterFriends After the the rain and halestorm in Curitiba, John Norums Guitars checked in to a hotel room to dry off and for some R&R. Basses and Keyboards had a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door, so we can’t get access to pictures at this stage. The Curitiba show was otherwise amazing! Crowd AWESOME! It’s a real pleasure to be back in South America and to Meet our fans here. We are still in Brazil for one more show then off to Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. We have a feeling this will be a tour to remember. // Europe

Like Ian said, it became a historic gig, and luckily no one got hurt (as far as I know).
I can't help but think of that one time in 2012 when EUROPE was scheduled to play at Download Festival in England, and the day before the gig they had a band meeting where they agreed not to play TFC. And what happened the next day? They had to cancel the gig at the last minute due to bad weather.

What was the gig in '86 where they didn't play The final countdown? Just curious.. I think they meant it was the first time they hadn't played the song at a major show since the release of the TFC single in early 1986, a couple of months before the first leg of the Final Countdown tour.
